I met Sgt. Rock a couple years ago at his book signing at Costco.

I told Beau when I got home that I'm such a sucker for nice old men 

and no one was stopping to talk to him

 so I had to buy his book, lol.

Turns out, we loved the book and we love Sqt. Rock.

If you have the chance to meet him and read his story, do it.

Last week we were running through Costco on the way out of town and I saw his table set up and grabbed the nearest employee to see if Rock was there yet. Beau was going to be meeting me there and I  knew Beau would love to meet him and tell him how much we enjoyed his story. 

No one knew if he was there yet but by the time we were ready to leave he had just arrived.

I am so glad we got to see him and introduce him to Rocky who's name we fell even more in love  with and ended up deciding to use after reading about Rock.

Rock shared with us the other side of his story that he doesn't share in the book.

Absolutely incredible.

So if you ever see Rock at Costco,

Please stop, say hello from me and buy his book!

Beau and I celebrated our tenth anniversary in New York last year.

This trip was my second time getting on an airplane

and my first time east of Wyoming.

I know, I'm so cool.

New York was a dream come true for me!

I loved the people.

I loved the energy, excitement, diversity 

and EVERYTHING!

I cannot wait to go back, I miss it soooooo much.

One of my FAVORITE places!

The energy and feeling of history in that old, incredible, beautiful building gave me chills!!!

So many people have passed through this building, going so many different places and leading so many different lives. 

I felt so drawn to this place! So much mystery, romance and drama! You can just FEEL it all here.

So if you ever have the chance to stop at Grand Central Station, walk out into the middle of all those people and close your eyes for just a second and I promise you will know what I'm talking about. ;)

We also went to Serendipity and had the famous frozen ice cream and awesome food and Beau surprised me with the most perfect 10 year anniversary band and everyone thought he was proposing and cheered.

We had the most amazing time.

I feel like it was a dream now.

I cannot wait to go back.
