A lot can happen in a year.

So my little girl decided to up and turn 12 in September and I still haven't blogged about it!! Just a little shout out to my(not so little anymore) gal....there is no way in the world I could be more proud of you. You are kind and good in every way....if it's possible I want to be like you when I grow up!

These are a few of my favorite things...I mean kids.

So here I am yet again without a picture of Ry! Let me be clear....the boy hates his picture taken! Believe me when I tell you though that I WILL have a picture of him on here SOON! You heard it here folks!

These were taken on picture day. How can you pass up the opportunity when your kids are freshly bathed...in their fabulous clothes...and hair done in a way you NEVER have time for otherwise?!? I'm telling you....it was a good day! Anyway, they were just too cute to pass up...and again...Ry will be appearing in a blog near you very soon.;)

School Pics....finally!

I have no idea how I got this to work but here are the pics of my cute little people on their first day of school!! I have some of Hailey but they're on my phone so I need to figure that out now. I didn't get any of Ry this year so I'm feeling like a slacker mom...next year I guess.

And then there was one....me!

So I've dreaded this day for as long as I can remember. I vividly remember the feeling of dread I had when Ryan turned 4 thinking about sending my baby off to school and now here I am an empty nester! How did this happen? Why so fast? I have to admit that their teacher(Mrs. Coburn) has made the transition as easy as it can be for me because she's amazing with the kids and they love her. The only good that comes from this is that I get my gym time in without having to leave the kids home by themselves...lucky me huh?!?;)
So now that I've given the sob story part....it really has been good for Abbi and Jake to know that there is life outside of Mom. They're learning something new every day and can't wait to come home and share with the rest of us. For example yesterday I took the kids to Sizzler and out of nowhere Jake looks up at me and says "Mom...let's invite an Indian over for Thanksgiving".Ha Ha I got the belly roll laughs and Abbi said "Mom is it's not funny, that's what the Pilgrams did. And Jake replies with "ya Mom it's a great idea"! I guess all I can do for now is enjoy the moment and hope that the next 14 years don't fly by as fast as the first 14 have! BTW...for some reason it's not letting me post pictures! I've tried to post this about 20 times with no luck....any ideas??

This is what happens while the world sleeps!

First of all I would just like to say that it's all in your imagination that I haven't posted since Halloween. Ok I'm a blog slacker but I'm serious when I tell you that this post is worth my time...and if you would have been there you would have laughed until you cried...we did!
Innocent enough right?!?
And then Michelle has an idea...and this is what happens! In her blog she blames the chocolate~on~the teeth trick on me, but for the record...it was ALL her idea!(just so you know mom)
We're just waiting for the style to make a comeback...and until it does I guess I'll just have to hold it up because my hair has lost it's 80's poof factor!

There are no words. We were starting to hit the delirious stage at this point in the game....
You do not mess with our bomb pops!!

The night wouldn't have been complete without messing with our unsuspecting, innocent, sleeping children! Don't worry guys...one of these days we'll grow up.;) Super fun weekend sister...let's do it again real soon! Love ya!

Happy Halloween!

I just wanted to post this pic first to prove that there is a love/hate relationship between kids and Halloween sometimes!LOL I have no idea how anyone can be sad when that much candy awaits them!
Again Abbi with the love/hate thing!;) This is actually the day of the school Halloween carnival...that's why Jake is wearing something different every day of the week!

Best ride at the carnival! We let them use their tickets really fast on these rides, then....

We bribed them with Macey's ice~cream! Not a bad deal for us....it cost us $2.40 to leave 198 degree's and a major crowd! Think about next year people!Haha

And finally here they are collecting the loot! I wanted to get a pic of the three cats...cute little gals! My sister~in~law actually made her girls ears...you should make the pic bigger and look at them, they're impressive! Hope everyone had a fab Halloween....I know we did!!

Halloween with Grandma and DD!

This a pic of all the cute grandkids during a Halloween party at my Mom and Dads. They are always coming up with ways to make life a little better for their grandbabies! I was just telling my Dad today what a softy he is when it comes to his grandkids....I love it!
Even though there are many plates in front of us...they're not ours! Not that we didn't eat our fair share of moms popcorn....it's GOOD...don't judge us!!

My little gangster girl! She is so proud of this costume....and why not, look how cute she is!

All I have to say is....look at his boots!LOL He insisted that Bumblebee(Transformers) would totally wear them even though he's a robot....cute little man!

And no party would be complete without Tinkerbell right?!? She was something else on Halloween day, but I still have to post those later. Thank you Mommy for an excellent party...my kids are definitely loved!
