I’ve done a bit of scrapbooking since I’ve been home

Partly because of the ‘new’ old stuff given to me by my good friends Anne  and Beth while I was in the US – I didn’t buy too much while over there – just a few bits and pieces in Walmart – but Anne gave me a heap of Club Scrap papers and about a million embellishments !!!

I had the urge to dig out some of the old heritage photos that I have – I pulled out my stuff and off I went. When it comes to heritage – I’m pretty ‘traditional’ when it comes to heritage photos – I love the colours, and I love lots and lots of matts – this goes back to my days at Scrapbook Cottage with Anna who used to create the most awesome heritage pages.

I like using a theme for my 12 of 12 – and this month was the kitchen !  mainly because that is where I was when i thought about it

I’ve been very slack with uploading my layouts My scanner had been playing up – so been taking photos of layouts instead – these were taken after they were in an album – so the colour is REALLY bad … but you get the idea.

I did all of these at a weekend away – so many of Troy that people thought he was my son !!!  (bit sad considering he is 36 !!! I’ll just say they must have thought HE looked YOUNG !!!)

I guess i could have taken ‘Easter’ photos for the 12 this month – but I spent my Easter still decluttering ….. so here is my 12 for this month

not that I haven’t scrapbooked – just haven’t had the energy to photograph or scan – and then resize and post … but i took these (bad) shots of a route 66 album i made. My friend cut me the wooden shield shape … and i cut similar shaped pages for the inners.

this is THEN and NOW … shots taken in the same place – one in 2005 and then again in 2007

as i said – shots not great – but you’ll get the idea
