Have fun!!
So this last weekend I had to do a little dancey thing with my little sister at BYU. She and I choreographed a dance together and they asked us to come and perform and we said yes. It turned out to be quite an entertaining night. Aleksa and I had to show up 45 minutes early to "warm up" and I knew that I would be probably older than the others that were dancing since it was a children's danceworks concert...but I figured that maybe there would be some older girls. I was wrong! I was the oldest person in the room. Even there dance teacher doing the warm up was younger that me! It was great. Corey was coming to the performance late just to see us dance so that he could bring Kaleb and just slip out after we were done. What a relief when my phone rang and Corey said he was there. He and Kaleb came to say hello (getting me out of making funny shapes with the young uns in the waiting-to-perform area)...so this is Kaleb and I right before the dancey thing. (Yes I am wearing a leotard for about the first time in five years, and no I don't recommend it!) Kaleb was looking super stylish in his hat that he will never keep on for longer that 10 seconds...so that means that this picture is priceless. You can't really tell by the picture but apparently Kaleb had his first bloody nose right before they came. He pulled his basketball hoop down on top of himself and it konked his nose. Corey said that Kaleb was pretty fascinated by the red stuff coming out of his nose. Glad I wasn't there to have to clean it up.
2. Grey's Anatomy was soooooosoooooo good this week...I even cried a little. I love this TV show too much obviously and I feel like just knowing that I get to watch Grey's on Thursday nights makes the week go by faster! If you missed the episode, watch it online! It was a goodie.
3. Peach Coobler was good this week! Monday being a holiday and all was a fun day with Corey. But come nighttime we were bored...so I called up Scottimus (the father-in-law) and told him to get out his yummy peach cobbler recipe cause I was coming over and I was bringing the peaches with me!!! It is my favorite treat and I had THREE helpings! Needless to say I had a slight stomach ache afterward, but it was so worth!
4. Naps have been REALLY good this week! I am not talking about me taking naps...I am saying that Kaleb (bless his heart!! hehe) has been napping like a champ! He must know that mommy has been on the verge of insanity this week and that I needed to get stuff done during nap time! Thank you, oh wise inventor of naps, whoever you are!
Next week will be better. I know this because it can't possible be worse than the week I have been having.
p.s. NOTE to Greg the decorations guy...if you make an appointment with someone and expect them to drive 40 miles in blizzard-like conditions to be there, you may want to show up yourself...jerk!
He looks so sweet and nice here, but don't believe it!
This one above is my favorite. He is totally cheesing it...you can see both rows of teeth!
Kaleb is two years old today! I feel like life had always been this way and that he has always been here. I almost don't remember what life was like before we had him!! These are the flipping hilarious pictures that I had taken of him for his birthday. We got one decent smile out of him and then the rest of the pictures are just the smirk that you see. He was so naughty at Kiddie Kandids! I love him anyway!! When I showed these pictures to Corey he said that Kaleb doesn't even look like a baby anymore...more like a little man in man clothes. That makes me a little sad...but he does look pretty cute in the stylin' clothes I picked for the pics! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALEB!
