Something New

The wait is hard. Every day I check my little day counter on my blog just to be sure that progress is happening. Yes. I am counting the days. I find that I come visit my blog everyday. It helps me feel closer to Avah. So, starting tonight, each Monday I will post a new quotation in honor of my sweet Avah.

It is just so much fun to get together with other families who have adopted from Korea or any other country. Today we went to Crown Center and then to Kaleidoscope. I had three extra kids with me (that I was babysitting) so I was limited on the pics I could take.

Homestudy Approved and Grant News!

We are happy to say that our homestudy was approved on Aug 2nd and also that we have received a grant to help with a little of our adoption expenses! Now we have a HUGE stack of papers we are sending back to Dillon called, "Acceptance Papers". Once Dillon has this paperwork, they will send it to Korea and our official wait time will begin! The wait time is still 8-12 months from that point. Here are some cute pics from our video. I just love her little curlies in the back of her head:-).
