The other day, we got the urge to dance! Here's a bit of it.

Obvious, so Why Didn't I Know About It???
While in Lake Tahoe, on vacation this summer, we came across a Lego Brickation. This is a cool store, where you can spend as much time as you like building with every kind of lego under the sun. It's like a demonstration room, and they let kids display their creations on shelves in the windows. It's really fun! Of course, we visited on more than one occasion, and the boys had a blast! One of the things I came across was this amazing tool. It's a brick separator. No joke! How did I not know this existed? It works like a dream. No more teeth marks on legos or sore teeth at that! Now I'm on the hunt for one...

Our First Broken Bone
Two
weeks ago, our little beauty broke her arm. It was sad. But she took
it like a trooper! And now she's all pink and sparkly! Just a couple
more weeks, and she'll be good as new. Phew!
After visiting urgent care, she had a splint and a sling. Who knew they made those in baby sizes!?
A treat to make her feel better :)
Wiped out! This is her bona fide cast- kinda cute, right?

Eli's New Hair
Here he is making his "I'm mad I'm getting in trouble" look. We get this look often as he marches to the play-room couch, a.k.a. the time-out spot. Tough guy.
This little munchkin's hair was getting to be quite long and very red-ish. I had begun calling him my little red-head. You can see in my previous post his "long" look. But, after some consideration and a few conversations, Chris and I decided Eli is much more of a short-hair kind of guy. So he got a buzz. And, alas, it is much less red. I don't know how I feel about that, but the haircut sure looks good, huh?

A Massive Catch-Up!
True to Form, I am playing catch-up! I have tons of photos from the past couple of months. Here goes:
A Pinterest Moment. I rarely have these. They call for immediate Blog-Posting. (Or a 2-month old blog posting- but who's counting?) He passed these out to his classmates for Valentines Day.
Random warm spring day called for a sprinkler moment. Love that my sweet hubby and some good friends put grass in. It will get LOTS of use this season!
A new favorite pastime- Let's just hope I don't have to redeem my warranty due to a broken door.
A quick trip to the snow included Finn and Owen (his first) getting to attend Ski School. Very cute.
Go Rangers!
My Baby Turned 8! What?
This just about sums up Easter. I considered putting up a different photo that was a bit more accurate, including Eli and Bentley crying, but I want to remember the good. And it was SO good. Mostly.
One of the only couple photos of us as of late. See that little guy trying to sneak his way in there?
Yeah, that guy. So cute, he deserves a photo all by himself!
This is in honor of Auntie Soozie. Notice the outfit on Lolu. Reminds me of an ensemble Auntie Soozie attempted recently. Ha!
Baby Love. Gotta soak it in while it lasts!
And there you have it. Update Successful!

Embrace Lolu
All year long, I've been waiting for these tulips to bloom. The bulbs were a birthday gift from my mom about 2 years ago- I think straight from Amsterdam. Well, I've been waiting because I remember the first year they bloomed. I remember bringing Lauren Lucy home from the hospital and seeing them on my porch- one of those sweet, fond memories.
Little Lauren Lucy, just days old.
And, one year later, here she is right next to the same tulips. Makes you realize how quickly time passes. I sure must be a Mommy, because there's nothing that makes my heart sing like seeing my little girl next to a pot of pretty flowers!
Fast forward. I mean Fast. One-year old
And for our Embrace The Camera shot, here we are together. What do you think- does she look like her Mama?
Lauren is wearing a top made using the tutorial found here. I shortened it (about 4 inches?) to make for easier crawling.
I think this may be a yearly photo shoot!

Some Interesting Thoughts
I've recently come across a couple of really great thoughts lately. Thought I'd share.
The first articulates all the reasons I am averse to a smartphone (oh yeah- and I'm too cheap to pay for one)! This guy challenges the "Smart" in smartphone.
The second is a good read for moms like me who wonder how other moms do it all and make everything look so perfect and easy- a real encouragement from a real mom, who's expecting her 6th child. I think she knows what she's talking about!
And the third, just makes me laugh. I think the Duggars have multiplied. Again. I'm excited!
Enjoy! And stay tuned... I have a cute ETC planned to post this week!
