The best thing about the zoo this year was not animals, it was electronic dinosaurs. They especially loved the ones that spit water. They left the zoo pretty soaked, which was good on a such a hot day!

Happy 7th Birthday Valerie! This year Valie had a Rock Star Birthday Event :) Everything was pink, black, and zebra.

This is the snack table for the kids. But really it was really my dream come true! A table full of junk food and I hardly had a moment to dive in, what a shame.

Here's the sign on the front door. I love to go through Val's room before a party and take things that go with the theme. The guitar on the poster is a craft we did 2 years ago! I also used her umbrella, boa, and some stuffed animals all over the house.

I'm finally downloading the pictures off my camera so I can post some Valie updates! This was her first concert and we saw Justin Bieber. It was crazy, screaming girl mania! I thought my hearing would never return :) But it was worth it to see her so excited, and of course she wants to be a rock star, so the memory is priceless.
Here she is making the cheesy "heart" sign to Justin as he's floating across the audience! I pretty much laughed the whole concert because she was so into it.

We had good seats, which was exciting.

My lovely lady. All the teen girls kept coming up and telling me how cute Valie was and how much they loved her hair. She certainly is a character, gotta love her.
