NEW CARSEAT!!!

Thanks Grandma Radmall for my Awesome new carseat! I love it! Except when Daddy drives, it makes me sick!!! :( Lucky for Mom, this is how I act most of the time!!!

Daddy gets a break!!!

Yay! Daddy made it through his 2nd semester of dental school! 2 down, 9 to go. I think he'll make it! We went out and flew kites on the only non windy day this week. It was pretty sad. But we're sure glad to have him home!

Aria

She has just been so adorable lately, I had to add a few of these. She LOVES to squish up her nose. It is so cute!!! I think she's happy that Daddy's home now, all the time! Hence, we get all these smiles!

Red Rock Canyon

We had heard people talk about this awesome canyon just a little South West of Las Vegas We went on a short hike and discovered that Aria can only take about 2 hours of being carried before she needs to get down and walk around. We had a really good time though! That darned wind was hard though. The most fun thing about the recent hike was the gorgeous flowers scattered throughout. They were so vibrant! We want to go in the spring every year! We also saw this hilarious sign at the end of hike. Like we didn't know this is the wilderness - they decided to let us know.

Birthday party at the park!

Today we decided to have a little combined birthday party with some friends from around here: Teya, Kennedy, Suhayla, Juliet and Aria. Aria's birthday is April 2nd, and Juliet's and Suhayla's birthday is on the 23rd. We had a picnic lunch at the park and played on the playground and swings. It was a lot of fun to spend some time together. Aria still loves the swings, but she wasn't as interested in climbing on the playground today. I think she had a lot of fun. The only problem - it was too windy to light candles in the cupcakes.

Angel's Landing

This hike was amazing - a HUGE climb, but a lot of fun!!! As we looked back at the mountain we couldn't believe that we had been to the top of it. Truly an amazing feat. It was fun to get to spend some time with some friends; Chad, Jen, Jason and Erin. It was a beautiful day and the views were spectacular. The girls are in this cave towards the lower end of the trail. The boys are at the half way point - right before we get to all the chains. Of course, all of us are in the picture at the top! We're so glad we went!

BIRTHDAY BASH!!

Due to scheduling conflicts we had to have Aria's little birthday party at 10 PM on April 2. She is adorable! She is getting better and better at unwrapping presents. She is really getting the hang of it. Mom made a heart-shaped pink, orange and greenstriped cake (in honor of Chelsea's wedding colors). She wasn't quite sure what to think of the flame. There are some pictures where she's smiling while eating the cake, but I love this one because the cake is actually flying! She got a fun keyboard, a walker/rider, a red ball, a 'quiet book' and a swimming floaty. We're looking forward to many days being spent in the pool.

Pizza Factory is #1

For Aria's 'pre' Birthday party we went to Pizza Factory in St. George. They have a fun thing they do, where they make a pizza the shape of how old you're turning. So they made Aria one in the shape of a 1! Yay!!!!! Even busy Grandpa and Jared were able to come! We love Pizza factory and Aria does too! You can tell by what's on her face!!!

Icky Grass!!!

At Grandma's house - Mommy just couldn't resist this picture of Nate and Aria. You just want to squeeze them both. Aria has discovered that grass is itchy and she hates to sit in it or lay in it. Mom thought it was hilarious so here are the pictures

Happy Easter!

My beautiful little Aria in her adorable Easter dress. Check out my other blog for pictures I had a great time editing! Aria got this cute little hat, an Easter basket and these adorable little sidewalk chalks in the shape of eggs. Thanks Grandma Pettit for this adorable dress!
