 I really just enjoyed being with my kids in July. Nate started his new job. It's definitely been a transition, but it's been so exciting that we have the prospect of doing something great. I am loving having him home in the evenings so much.    For the 4th of July we sang a version of the star spangled banner at our ward party, had a fun and yummy breakfast and then headed to Bellaire for the parade. These two are just meant for each other.  I was so excited we got to watch one of my very favorite movies of all time. Mary Poppins. They actually really enjoyed it. I was surprised because they usually turn their noses up at live action. They were obviously enthralled and I realized that I have my very own Jane and Michael. They are just like them.  My friend Mindy, throws amazing parties. I'm so glad I can be her friend so she can invite me to her cool parties. She is so great, really. This one was a flower garden. June bugs

We started the trip off right with a trip to the pool and sad day at the Astros ball park. They lose a lot but every once in awhile they show a glimmer of hope... On Thursday we had to take them to our stomping grounds for the summer.... We started out at the mfah. My Mom the shot above would be really cool so I took it just for her... I think it may have been cooler in person. sorry Dev bev. This exhibit has totally been the highlight for Jeff and Aria this summer. We have to stop by this every time we're there. I don't go in anymore due to the amount of people touching it, but it's super cool how they made it and how creative and meaningful it is, despite the fact that it's just long strands hanging from the ceiling. It was really cool to explore it. The way the cords moved was breathtaking. Jeff was just so glad to have his favorite uncle around... The yellow part was meant to be an ellipse.
