One morning, after the rain, there were clouds and a brightful sun. There was also a colourful rainbow across the clouds. A few birds chirping happily above the sky (*chirp,chirp,chrip...*).
Let us look at the Dating Lake. The water was calm and peaceful. Suddenly, there were some sounds beside the water plants. Look carefully, there was a gorgeous white female swan. Beside her, a few baby swans swimming playfully around her. The little swans were playing with each other and some of them were catching fish (*swis,swish, swish...*).
Then came a handsome drake. They were in love from the first moment they see each other. The drake invited her to take a swim around the pool. They chatted together and the little swans followed behind them.
The drake moved behind her and suddenly he jostled hard into her back and then tried to twist her neck. the swan slapped him hard and then flew away leaving behind the little swans.
Cupid's arrow was broken and heart shattered to pieces (*Crash,Boom, Bang..ching,ching,ching..*). ~The End~

Kanye West - Hey Mama Lyrics
(Hey Mama), I wanna scream so loud for you, cuz I'm so proud of you
Let me tell you what I'm about to do, (Hey Mama)
I know I act a fool but, I promise you I'm goin back to school
I appreciate what you allowed for me
I just want you to be proud of me (Hey Mama)
I wanna tell the whole world about a friend of mine
This little light of mine and I'm finna let it shine
I'm finna take yall back to them better times
I'm finna talk about my mama if yall don't mind
I was three years old, when you and I moved to the Chi
Late December, harsh winter gave me a cold
You fixed me up something that was good for my soul
Famous homemade chicken soup, can I have another bowl?
You work late nights just to keep on the lights
Mommy got me training wheels so I could keep on my bike
And you would give anything in this world
Michael Jackson leather and a glove, but didn't give me a curl
And you never put no man over me
And I love you for that mommy cant you see?
Seven years old, caught you with tears in your eyes
Cuz a nigga cheatin, telling you lies, then I started to cry
As we knelt on the kitchen floor
I said mommy Imma love you till you don't hurt no more
And when I'm older, you aint gotta work no more
And Imma get you that mansion that we couldn't afford
See you're, unbreakable, unmistakable
Highly capable, lady that's makin loot
A livin legend too, just look at what heaven do
Send us an angel, and I thank you (Hey Mama)
Forrest Gump mama said, life is like a box of chocolates
My mama told me go to school, get your doctorate
Somethin to fall back on, you could profit with
But still supported me when I did the opposite
Now I feel like it's things I gotta get
Things I gotta do, just to prove to you
You was getting through, can the choir please
Give me a verse of "You, Are So Beautiful To Me"
Can't you see, you're like a book of poetry
Maya Angelou, Nicky Giovanni, turn one page and there's my mommy
Come on mommy just dance wit me, let the whole world see your dancing feet
Now when I say Hey, yall say Mama, now everybody answer me (Hey Mama)
I guess it also depends tho, if my ends low
Second they get up you gon get that Benzo
Tint the windows, ride around the city and let ya friends know (Hey Mama)
Tell your job you gotta fake em out
Since you brought me in this world, let me take you out
To a restaurant, upper echelon
Imma get you a jag, whatever else you want
Just tell me what kind of S-Type Donda West like?
Tell me the perfect color so I make it just right
It don't gotta be Mother's Day, or your birthday
For me to just call and say (Hey Mama)

WHAT TO DO IF STOPPED BY MALAYSIAN POLICE
"Policeman who is not wearing his uniform does not have the authority to stop anyone," lawyer and human rights activist Sivarasa Rasiah said.
However, if you are stopped by a uniformed policeman, then you are required to stop. But you need not get out of the car because you are not expected to do so, Santiago said.the other rule to follow is to provide your identity card only when you are asked to do so. "Even then, you should get his ID first to confirm if he is a cop. There is no harm in calling the relevant police station to verify if he is supposed to be on duty that day," Sivarasa said.
Procedures to follow in the event you are stopped by uniformed police Officers while driving. Stop the car and wind down your window. If the police officers ask for your documents, request to see their IDs first. If you are satisfied about their identity, ask them if you are being summoned, and for what offence. Produce your identity card and driver's license and wait to collect your summon ticket.
In the event that the police officers ask you to follow them to the police station: Ask
if you are under arrest and for what offence. If you are not under arrest, you have the right to leave.
In the event you are flagged down by persons you believe could be plainclothes police:
Do not stop because plainclothes police officers do not have the authority to stop you.
Drive to the nearest police station and lodge a report. (The same procedure applies to pedestrians)
In the event the police come to your house:
Do not let them in before checking their IDs. If you are not satisfied, phone the nearest police station and confirm if they had been sent to your house. You are under no obligation to allow them into the house if they don't have a search warrant. Do not go with them if you are not under arrest.
In the event persons who claimed to be plainclothes police come to your house:
Do not let him in because they do not have the authority to do so. Lodge a report at the nearest police station.

Here n There during BTN in Langkawi
we departed fr maktab around 3 pm. strange...i dun feel Nything usual like wat other ppl seem 2 feel. No excitement, no 'lookin-4wrd to' feelings etc. none. Juz sum...sadness,dissappointment, troublesome...but i tried 2 ignore dat. i guess sum of my classmates wud undrstand dis. Imagine, its our last prog by maktab n the whole class r not gathered in 1 place. majority of us went 2 langkawi but sum decided 2 go 2 harvard resort in bedong. such a dissappointment...! but i understand, 1 thing d arrangement wud be easier for them than 4 those who wud b going 2 langkawi. moreover we had just had d KISSM xm...n we also realized dat we wud be having BTN xm soon after. so no excitement kud b present throughout d prog. hmm...
Nyway, 4 us in langkawi, we stayed at d Pusat Latihan Chandek Kura along with trainees from MP Tuanku Bainun (MPTB). they were all the primary school batch comprised of Kem.Hidup, Agama n Seni Visual teacher trainees. the LDK acTVT were of members from both maktab. it was okay i wud say. tho' the 1 slot dat nearly made my head burst wit heat was about politics. we even missed our morning break coz of the 'so many things' dat the facilitator wanted 2 tell us. n guess what? D session continued wit yet D same topic...?! hahaa...i did laughed2 myself, mind u. not bcoz i have any negative sentiments 2 d topic, NO...but it's just too much. we hadnt enuff sleep n d weather was so hot but thank god we managed 2 bear wit it all since i wasnt d only 1 who felt dat way :) solidarity does cure d anomaly.
I was afraid dat i wudnt b able 2 join d physical acTVTs. Luckly they werent so hard actvts. even d Kembara was unexpectedly, MILD....i mean they literally called it as Kembara Minda(mind trekking) instead of Kembara Rimba (jungle trekking). but we did went along trekking..around d villagers' houses n out n abt sum construction sites n barren woods. d new concept was dat when we stoppd at d checkpoints, we had 2 create n compose short stories or even continue stories written by other groups. the last checkpoint was arranging puzzles.
My group had dis 1 trainee fr sarawak n he had us laughin at times especially when we got into d woods. He seemed excited in there as if he hadnt been in the jungle for such a long time. True- as his frens said. d trainee musta missed his home so much. Amusingly, his classmates call him as 'tupai' (squirrel), just how he had acted during the Kembara..kiH....
hm, i unwittingly didnt get 2 xchange contact numbers wit d other trainees fr MPTB. i guess d atmosphere was affected. i usually nvr missed any effort 2 keep in contact wit others. moreso i had lost any moTvation then as i dun have my camera. oh well...ade rezki, insyaAllah....
dat nite we arrived 2 maktab around 8 pm...ppl were shaking hands n hugging n bidding farewell 2 each other. we didnt get 2 meet our frenz who went 2 harvard resort. we heard dat they had gone home since 5 pm dat evenin. all i can say is d emotion when leaving hi skool n IIU was greater than here n now. but i sure do miss my frens already...

The Aftermath of the ELT Exhibition !
Monday; 3 October 2005
C 115, Hostel MPSAH
It was drizzling this morning. Still, I needed to hang my laundry. I hung them in the sink room, behind the washing machine. It kept drizzling till almost 7.30 a.m. So, no assembly! Plus, I had a teeny problem with my tudung.
We headed for our class… I had promised kak Mar to meet her there. She’d called while I was ‘catering’ the headdress. It was a pleasant surprise to see them eating nasi lemak brought by Kyairul. We had put our order on him yesterday… thus, I sort of devoured mine this morning even though I had my breakfast already. It was okay but he brought different ones than yesterday, adding cockles in the sambal.
By 8 a.m. we were on our way to the hall and arranging our stuff for the English Language Teaching Exhibition. Yes, it was done in a small scale but it was colourful with teaching aids from the other courses who are taking English-minor. However, what we didn’t understand was why were there theatre and puppet performances at the same time and the same place of the teaching aids exhibition? It was very much distracting.
Hafiz said he got ticked off by mdm. A for letting the puppet performance going on when there was a theatre starting. Well, our class is not even the coordinator of the programme but we somehow helped in its arrangement. Had to. Our guys were the ushers, so like it or not they had to go around carrying ‘extra loads’ along the way.
Then at 11.30 a.m. we heard that all the Muslims were required to go to the lecture hall as there would be a special talk in conjunction with the coming Ramadhan. Luckily Renu was conscious on that and reminded us when it was time. When we arrived, I would say there were not even a class full of students in the hall… We waited for almost half an hour and then it started and, well, it was worth it.
Fortunately I had watched both the main theatre performances; Oedipus Rex and We Could **** You Mr. Birch two nights before so there was no big deal missing the ‘Mr. Birch’ performance while sitting in the hall. But I must say, what a pity kak Yana didn’t get to watch ‘Mr. Birch’ as her ‘friendly friend’ was acting inside. :p
I told the B.ed Tesl performers that watching the performance was like fulfilling my wish list. I had read the stories during my varsity years but had yet to watch the performance till now. What a feeling! :)
The talk finished around 1.30 p.m. People were worn out and restless. Renu sms me telling McD has not deliver their order. Suddenly Ana offered to go to CS and take away from there. I accompanied her. So we had to let the cat out of the bag for her. We got over budget for the burgers. We ordered 16 McChicken and a Big Mac. We stay put with the order as we only realised about the price, which was different from what Renu and kak Yana have said earlier on the spot there. RM 4.50 McChicken and RM5 the latter. Altogether it was over RM80 plus the tax!? Aiyyooo…I think we need to cancel any party after this…

2nd one....long time a go laa...
Reflection 2 : Lesson Plan 1 (a) – 4 Technical 2 : 4th July 2005 / 10.30 – 11.50 a.m.
Set Induction: It started late as ss entered the class late after the recess. I tried the same method as I had done in class 4 Sc. 1 but the starting was a bit different. Puan May entered the class when I had just entered and she addressed the ss about my presence. She asked them to give their ‘utmost cooperation’. Some of them seemed impassive. Anyway I started with the same lesson plan that I had used in 4 Sc. 1.
Presentation: Somehow the activity proceeded till the end of the class. I noticed two problems occurred. First, ss were not able to construct even a simple sentence and secondly ss were not cooperative among themselves during their individual presentation.
I saw them struggle with the dictionary and fidgeting in their seats for those who did not bring it. Some were moving about the class and copying answers from their friends. So I went to them asked them what were the words that they were looking for. They mentioned the word in Malay language e.g. ‘longkang’. I asked them to check on ‘d-r-a-i-n’ in the dictionary. I was glad to see them really using the dictionary then.
During presentation, I noticed ss who was standing at the front had to endure mockings from their friends. They laughed and clapped their hands and even waved to the one who was presenting at the front. I tried to control things at time. But these were actually what I had wanted them to face. I wanted each of them to have the chance to speak in front of the class and face the audience. I could imagine their feelings when I shook hands with them after each presentation. Some were shaking and some were sweating. Luckily all of them went to the front and presented. Some needed encouragement. In the end I made a simple introduction of myself.
This activity might not be suitable for a class of 36 ss but then I have achieved at least two of the learning outcomes even if it was not to the fullest. I noticed on this first day that the class is heterogeneous. I am disappointed that I could not do all the activities planned. I realize for this class I would have to do lots of alteration or find alternatives in planning the lesson. The ss need more time in fulfilling class activities. There were a couple of time when I had to use Malay words after I could not find other synonyms in English even after I had given them examples of similar meanings. Maybe it was also because I was not fully prepared and did not exactly know what to expect from this class.
Reflection 1: i got nothin 2 write so i guess i kud only afford 2share dis wit u guys =>
Lesson Plan 1 (a) – 4 Science 1: 4th July 2005 / 7.30 – 8.50 a.m.
Set Induction: I planned to introduce myself as a representative from the Department of Environment and that I had come to do a survey regarding Environmental Damages. I chose to do so because initially I was worried as to how am I going to teach and proceed with their next topic when both of us did not know each other at all. I don’t feel it was appropriate for me to start right away with the lesson whereas Puan May said I could do so. So I carried out what I had planned and it was successful. The students (ss) were curious with my presence and the purpose of my ‘survey’.
Presentation: I was able to get to know about the ss since I have asked them to write their Name, Date of Birth, Home Area & its Environmental Damage(s) as well as their own personal Environmental Slogan on a piece of paper each. I collected their papers and later on called out their names one by one to the front. They have to speak out and present their answers. I gave suitable responses to each of them and asked questions at times. To them it was a ‘survey’ requirement but for me it was a way for me to get to know them and get close with them. I shook hands with each of them after they have presented their answers. I appreciate the ss for some of their creative answers. We all laughed when heard of their classmate’s slogan was “I am a nature’s baby”. Some also used the same slogan that I have given as example at the beginning but it was fine since they were able to make reference of the slogan with the Tsunami Aid concert; “I am a Force of Nature”. It showed that the slogan has effect on them.
Puan May came in the middle of the ss’ presentation. She came through the back of the class but only remained standing at the corner out of ss’ awareness. She gave me a thumb up. I nodded and smiled at her. I was surprised. She had helped boost my confidence by doing so. She went away soon after.
Afterwards, it was my turn to ‘really introduce myself’. I asked them again, “ do you really don’t know anything about me?” They shook their heads and said “No”. Puan May’s not being able to introduce me first to the class has its benefit after all. I gave them the chance to ask me on anything that they want to know about me. The class gave me more than 10 questions to answer e.g. who is my idol?, why I chose to be a teacher? My dreams? Etc. I tried to answer all of them diligently of course. The looks on their faces have somehow given me the strength to proceed.
Practice: after we have settled down with the get-to-know-each other session cum introduction to Environmental Damages, I asked them to go out of the class to the school’s front. It was ironically lucky that the school is situated nearby factories and big roads (Teachers have good reasons then to bring the class outside and teach ss on Environmental Damages). My partner during practicum here, Nur Hidyana, has suggested to me earlier to bring the class outside during the Set Induction. But I guessed it would not be a good idea as it was the first class in the morning and the ss were just sitting down for class and settling themselves. Thus I took them out during the Practice. I already made a mental note of expected answers when I asked them to look around and identify the type of environmental damages that they could see around school. Right enough, they have answered all types of pollution. I discussed with them and shared my own experience regarding the effects of pollutions.
Production: I made a diagram putting all the information gathered during the Practice. We had discussed and the ss provided examples of the main pollutions happening around school. Later I asked them to write a short composition using all the information in the diagram. I did not mention the exact amount of words required for the essay though, as time was running out. Only 15 minutes left before the period ended and I just wanted them to try writing about the topic even if it was only in brief.
Closure: I had let the ss to write until the class ended and I noticed a couple of them had finished writing but when I asked for those who had finished to submit their essay, all of them wanted to submit it the next day. Therefore, I did not get to do the Closure with them. It might not be suitable also since I had learned about their proficiency level that day and I realised what I had prepared was not really suitable for the class. It was supposed to be a spelling bee. However, the Teaching and Learning activities I would say the ss have obtained the objectives. Even though the composition became their homework at the end, I saw all of them started to write in the class and continued in the remaining 10 minutes of the period.
I think the time might be lost to the ‘introducing myself’ session but it was inevitable since from my own experience Ts need to introduce themselves and share information on the first day of teaching and coming to class. I had heard afterwards that most of my colleagues in other school did not have to teach or start the lesson at all on their first day in class.

Tired of Everything!
Tired of having to do things that i dont like.
Tired of having to impress people,
just because they expect you to.
Tired of having to bear other's burden
I'm tired of having to sleep late all nights.
Tired of lamenting
Tired of brooding
Tired of thinking, Tired of pondering
Tired of contemplating
When will i be rid of this tiredness???!
I'm just sick & tired of everything!

Book: Success is a Choice by Robert Unger et al
Its been…almost 3 months since I entered KPLI…as u can see, I haven’t the ‘effort’ to update my blog…I wudnt say I haven’t the ‘time’. Time is always there…only that I have my priorities…or shud I say, cognitively digressed from the set of priorities in mind…! he he…yeah, whatever…!?
Don’t be deceived by the book dat im reading at the moment...im also reading ‘7 Habits of highly Effective People’ by Stephen covey, ‘Dare to Fail’ by Bill Lim and 2 other books on success. Obviously, I wouldn’t read so many books at a time unless; it’s for the asgmnt…! Who would’ve thot I’d be reading the ‘7 habits of highly effective people’ while im in the maktab after been eyeing the book for so long since my 1st yr in UIA…?!ive heard people talk abt d book…now dat im starting 2 read it, it is a miraculous chance. IT IS A GOOD BOOK. I have 2 compare n contrast the concept of success in Islam n from the contemporary views. It will b a lotta works since I haven’t done such research since I graduated n moreover I haf2 do it in Malay while all the references r in English…
Hmm…dis morning me, my youngest sis n my parents had breakfast somewhere along Jln Sultanah. Yesterday we had breakfast at Aiena’s in Simpang Kuala. I was still sleepy actually. slept at 2.30 am last nite…my old schoolmate called from Kuantan. We haven’t met each other since early last yr. that was when my family went 2 kuantan 2 collect my SPM cert (‘fermented’ Cert of 6 years! kih…) and rekindle with our old neighbours. The call was enlightening…all the while before I was still at sea of wat was going on …our eyes gotten 'fresh' amidst the excitement of hearing from old frens…
Song: Sorry Seems 2 b the hardest words-Blue & E.John.
B4 calling, me old fren asked wat was I doing, I was playing the comp games while listening 2 Linkin Park…hehe…release tension konon!? I don’t want 2 think abt asgmnts at all 2day…the whole week ive been thinking of them n only got 3 asgmnts done out of total 9 asgmnts!?dat affected my mood of course. I need 2 take a course on another paradigm & recondition my ‘system’. It’s a NEED for I will start my School Orientation Program 2moro wit a colleague in a hi-school here. fuH, wonder how it will go on….?

Read on paper dis morn dat the Force of Nature concert –collaborating worldwide music artists, managed 2 collect RM 10 million for the tsunami victims fund. Wow…I was interested with its logo in the first place when I 1st saw it in the paper. I didn’t know dat it was abt a concert but I like the concept. Like it so much dat I cut out several of the orange-coloured hand prints logo-having the feeling dat ‘I AM a force of nature’!
Song: So Far Down- Creed
1 interesting anecdote dat Stephen Covey (1990) wrote in his book is abt The Power of Paradigm Shift (ever heard of ‘Anjakan Paradigma’?)(p. 31). How Perceptions Determine our Actions- How we see a situation by what we feel at the moment and not by what others mite feel or go thru.
He was in a subway with other passengers, sitting quietly. Some were reading newspaper, some were just looking at the scene outside the window and some closed their eyes-resting. Suddenly at a station a man entered with his children who stormed in, picking on each other, yelling and throwing things noisily. The man sat down n closed his eyes, oblivious 2 the tension dat is wavering around other passengers since the ‘peace’ dat was there gone abruptly.
Mr Covey felt the need 2 say something on behalf of others,” Sir, your children are really disturbing a lot of people. I wonder if you couldn’t control them a little more?”
The man opened his eyes as if realizing the situation for the 1st time & spoke softly, “Oh, u’re right. I guess I shud do sumthing abt it. We just came from the hospital where their mother just died abt an hour ago. I don’t know what to think, and I guess they don’t know how to handle it either.”
Imagine how wud one feel at dat moment? Covey’s paradigm shifted. Suddenly he saw things differently, thought differently and felt differently. Thus he behaved differently afterwards. Empathy moves him and he said,” Your wife just died? Oh, im so sorry! Can u tell me abt it? What can I do to help?” yep, the whole situation changed in an instant.
Some people mite just keep quite after that, eating their heart out with guilt. Or just want 2 let it be. But certainly if wud be better if we kud offer some act of sympathy. When we feel for others, others wud ‘feel’ us too. Its one of the principles in ‘Hablum minanNas’ (human to human relationship)
Uiks, is that a point dat I can add for my asgmnt? ;)
Hm…have a lot 2 tell abt wat we did at d maktab(teachers training college) so far…

Hmm…where shud I start?
The Closing Ceremony of our KPLI orientation week was held in MPPPP joined by 2 other maktabs (twas the closing ceremony of 4 maktabs up north al2gether-if im not mistaken) it’s d 1st time in kpli history done in dat manner. Lucky dat MPPPP had bigger new buildings n enough space 4 us all in d hall.
Song: Sunday Morning- Maroon 5
I sat next 2 Cheryl inside the bus on our way there (u call me ‘Angel’, I call u ‘Cheryl’ lor... ;p ) we chatted n I get 2 know more abt her. Apparently she worked for her family business before. The teaching influence is from her only eldest sister….Oh, our dear lovely petite Cheryl ;)
B4 the closing ceremony we all had a Bina Insan Guru (B.I.G) prog-kinda like ‘character building’ program. It’s a program to help the tsunami victims in a village, cant remember the name now-sorry…i kept thinking of the name kota kuala muda but the one we went was much farther off than Kota Kuala Muda, wic is nearer 2 the maktab. More than 500 of us trainees including our lecturers from all 4 maktabs went there. Imagine a sea of Teachers flooding a small village. All with their distinctive coloured tracksuits. It’s a bewildering image indeed…
Quite a lot2b done there. Some of the houses were practically lifted off the ground, leaving only the cemented floor. We dug mud off the drains…we encountered a frog, baby snake and even a black crab trapped under the mud- still alive…!?
This time I sat next 2 an Indian teacher, taking physics course. She’s quite a character..hehe..laugh is everywhere she goes…

Song: I Just wanna Live- Good Charlotte
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Song: These Words are My own- N. Bedingfield
Hmm…where shud I start?
The Closing Ceremony of our KPLI orientation week was held in MPPPP joined by 2 other maktabs (twas the closing ceremony of 4 maktabs up north al2gether-if im not mistaken) it’s d 1st time in kpli history done in dat manner. Lucky dat MPPPP had bigger new buildings n enough space 4 us all in d hall.
Song: Sunday Morning- Maroon 5
I sat next 2 Cheryl inside the bus on our way there (u call me ‘Angel’, I call u ‘Cheryl’ lor... ;p ) we chatted n I get 2 know more abt her. Apparently she worked for her family business before. The teaching influence is from her only eldest sister….Oh, our dear lovely petite Cheryl ;)
B4 the closing ceremony we all had a Bina Insan Guru (B.I.G) prog-kinda like ‘character building’ program. It’s a program to help the tsunami victims in a village, cant remember the name now-sorry…i kept thinking of the name kota kuala muda but the one we went was much farther off than Kota Kuala Muda, wic is nearer 2 the maktab. More than 500 of us trainees including our lecturers from all 4 maktabs went there. Imagine a sea of Teachers flooding a small village. All with their distinctive coloured tracksuits. It’s a bewildering image indeed…
Quite a lot2b done there. Some of the houses were practically lifted off the ground, leaving only the cemented floor. We dug mud off the drains…we encountered a frog, baby snake and even a black crab trapped under the mud- still alive…!?
This time I sat next 2 an Indian teacher, taking physics course. She’s quite a character..hehe..laugh is everywhere she goes…
A reflect upon fleeting resolutions II
How Long,How Much...
based on an incident where a teenage boy shot himself thru the mouth
Here I stood,
with the gun inside my hand.
I lifted it up,
& so U had to go 1st.
Here I stood,
with the window wide opened.
but they didnt see me,
& so they had to go too.
it's my path, not yours.
it's my decision, not yours.
it's my fate, & it could be yours too.
but only after I ended it, we realize
that it's not about how long U've been there,
it's about how much U've gained.
(A boy shot his sister,the pedestrians & himself)
On This Planet
Keep The Faith...
On this planet,
There's no true paradise
There's no true hell,
Only moments of pleasure
And moments of pain
On this Planet,
There are victories
There are failures,
I keep on going
And reach down under
On this Planet,
As I look down to the ground
I feel the vibration of the sound,
I know there's still hope
For me to hang to as a rope.
