TO GO!
Yep, actly decided to go. & I WENT. My mom also goin2 her batch's TKC alumni at 1 of d member's house the next day. so, we kinda share d excitement there. hehe..
My parents sent me 2 iium. the venue changed to Engineering Colliseum. i was among d earliest. kak gie was still on her way with kak aishah. n kak que n family took off a lil' bit later.
it was a bad traffic day, in & out. i cant thank my parents enuff for sending n fetching me there. while i was at the dinner, they went 2 our old place in nirwana,ampng.
Fr ampang, wat was supposed 2 b a less-than-a-half-hour trip 2 iium,became 1 n a half hour!? so u cn imagine laa...
at d dinner, MAKNA was there. it was supposed to add 'makna'(2 b meaningful) 2 d event. but d trouble is, speeches were done while ppl were engrossed in catching up wit each other. amidst d eating, and talking, and listening....
but i was able 2 grab some life's precious lessons/reminders fr 2 of the speakers; 1 young man who suffered brain tumor, & wudnt have known that he has it if not for being hacked on d head by a robber, n another young lady suffering from lymphoma cancer-result of secondary smoking, she mentioned her father.
i met with seniors who grad 10 yrs b4 me. & 1 admitted dat she felt lucky 2 b able 2 come back workin in iium. she was in istac b4 dat. Dr. Nor Faridah was also there. She's the new penaung of d alumni.
of course, i was so glad n happy 2 b able 2meet kak gie, kak queyah & her family (nasreen hani n pak Usu), & the most havoc-animated girl wit her bf, Ms H & TripleH. kihkih... i tink i had d most laugh dat nite.
but we werent really able 2 catch up with things among us. so we still hope 2 meet up jz btween us n exchange details later. inshaAllah.
i managed 2 share stuff wit H&3H later when every1 else had gone home. they kept me company til my parents arrived. i tink we were d last 2 leave d scene at abt 12am. 3H came wit H straight fr d ofis. i told them it was such a transformation seeing 3H now than back at uni yrs. He admittedly say mayb dat he's grown mature.
yea, wic was good for both of em :)
well, my parents n i reached home in SK at 1am. i hadnt had much sleep nowadays. overall, im spent & happy.

Post World Earth Day
- got sms fr Yenny & learned that it's World Book Day 2day!
- watched the breakfast show on ntv7 & there on the screen "World Book Day"
- but on the net, i read there are 2 different dates on WBD; 2008-6th March, 2004-4th March....???
- joined local freecycle group.
- puked 3 times 2day, there goes all my b.fast...after some shivering, a nap & sumthin fr kfc,i was okay, but tummy still feel hollow tho'..
p/s: if it makes u feel better, i did eat a banana afterwards okayy.
i tried 2do some work b4 i got sick. hmm, let's c if i cn continue later. .was planning 2go shop sum stuff wit abah. need tuna in olive oil n spagghetti, we alredy got d spinach & carrots for d dish.
i learnt also that it's nasreen hani's bday yesterday. & dat got me thinking of a long awaited post that i meant 2 draft sumtime back...ok, almost a yr back. well, more than a yr back maybe. anyway, here she is, but i bet she's a bit bigger now--
Hey, dats not her crib by the way. it belongs to kak ika's baby boy. this was during his kenduri cukur jambul. FYI, i still keep her birth gift at home. Never got d chance 2 giv it...

what happened was, i said "chakk?!" & she turned her head towards me, searching for my face behind the fon camera...! :D CUTE!
There's IRKHS Alumni Dinner at KAED Gallery this friday. im stil not sure whether to go or not. TO GO OR NOT TO GO-
