What came to my mind after Naz gave me an umbrella, which I consider as an advanced bday gift...

It was exam week. But I wasn’t invigilating. I couldn’t remember why. But that day I had a task. Needed to submit an order form to Café B for a scheduled R&D meeting.

It was raining & I didn’t have my umbrella with me (someone was borrowing it) Everybody else were in the exam hall/room, invigilating. I saw 3 students (PDT batch) in front of the library & asked them if I could borrow their umbrella. Unfortunately they didn’t have any.

I walked ahead & came upon this;

Hahaha what a sight!

I had this urge to borrow one. But of course I couldn’t, right? :P All the owners were having their exam.

So I braved the rain.

~ & isn’t it ironic? ~

p/s: Thanks for the cute umbrella Naz ;)

This leng loi can be weirder than I am at times!?

Maggi in cup itu biase, ...tapi pasta/spaghetti in mug,... ni la 1st time!? Orang suh pi amik pinggan kat pantry, taknak. Kihkih...

Never mind, as long as u enjoyed it ;)

This light dish of Spaghetti with Tuna & Spinach is another one of my favourites ever since 2007. I was even surprised when Ezrin gave it to her baby who was not even 2 years old yet (she cut them into small pieces of course :) ) & asked for the recipe later. So, why not try it?

  • · About 3 cups of dried fettuccine/ spaghetti etc.
  • · 2 large garlic cloves, or more to taste, finely minced
  • · 1 red chilli chopped.
  • · 1 can tuna packed in olive oil
  • · Some spinach
  • · Some cut carrots

1 Boil the pasta.

2 While pasta cooks, heat the olive oil drained from the can of tuna on medium-low heat. Add the garlic, carrots and chopped chilli and cook until garlic is fragrant and sizzling. Add tuna and shred it into fine flakes with a fork. Keep warm over low heat.

3 Just before the pasta is ready, set aside 1 cup of the boiling water. Drain pasta and pour into the tuna mixture plus the spinach & carrots / the other way around depending on the size of your pot/ wok.

4 Toss vigorously, moistening with some of the reserved pasta water. The spinach will wilt in the heat of the pasta.

Hexagonic Souvenir

Kak Yan has just got back from a very short trip to Shanghai & she got these for her cubicle mates (yippee!).

So together we ventured into unfolding (ironic pun intended) the face of our souvenirs.

Tadaa!

This was Ash’s idea. Later on we decided to tag along & had a foto session of us 4 wearing them on our heads :P
