Ward Frontier Night

Our ward had a really fun Frontier Night last month. Ivy went on her 1st hay ride, and got to eat watermelon, and hang out with the other kids. But dingy me, I forgot my camera. So luckily one of the activities was a "wanted" poster, and they just e-mailed me the picture. Isn't she a cute little fugitive!

11 Week Ultrasound

These pictures are from my 11-week ultrasound. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal to me, because I've "been there, done that", but I was so excited to see our new little baby! It is just all so amazing! I am starting to feel "him" move around a little bit, and I am finally starting to get some of my enegry back. I love the second trimester!

They always look like little aliens!

But isn't "he" cute?!?!

I guess only a mother would think so!

And this is the reason I've been saying "he"! What do you think?

Her Cute Little Baby Legs...

I had to post these pictures of Ivy in her cute new baby legs! These things are the best! They are so dang cute, plus they make it really easy to get her dressed and change her diaper (especially since she really doesn't have time for that sort of thing any more). So thank you Chelsea for the Baby Legs! We are big fans already!

She was just about to cry when I took this picture becuase I kept moving away from her when she would try to grab the camera. These are her "Rainbow Bright" baby legs.
And here she is brushing her teeth- One of the many things that she can do "by herself", or so she thinks. That's why we have 2 toothbrushes- one for me, and one for her! Where could she have gotten her independence, I wonder?!

More End-of-Summer Fun

We had a picnic in the park with some friends the other day to make use of the beautiful weather that will probably only last a few more weeks. Ivy had so much fun playing with her Mom and Dad on the playground.

Look at that cheese!
Getting ready to go down the "big" slide with Mom. Her new favorite thing!
John is the BEST Dad! He loves to play with his little girl, and make her laugh. Ivy and I both love him so much! The first thing Ivy says when she wakes up every morning is "Dada" in a really cute, ready-to-play voice.

The Gate...

So we finally broke down and bought a gate to put at the bottom of the stairs. I was tired of going up and down the stairs 50 times a day, and Ivy doesn't want to learn to go down. I have showed her a million times how to turn around and go down on her belly, but she still wants to go face-first. Stubborn little girl! Anyway, she is not happy about this gate. She even figured out how to open it (by pushing really hard, and then face-planting! Oops!) But Daddy has since tightened it, and so I think we're secure again!
