Private
Well we've finally decided to go private. We're getting something like 75 hits a day, and since I am pretty sure I don't know that many people I'm a little weirded out by who could be looking at pictures of my kids! So anyway, please email me, or leave a comment here with your email address if you are a reader of this blog and would like to be invited to read it in the future. Porter's blessing, and other exciting events!
I'm pretty slow at posting, but we blessed Porter the first Sunday of this month, and I just wanted to share! It was a really special day for our little guy, and John gave him a great blessing.

My brother Ryan and his family came out for Porter's blessing. These are my cute neices Mya and Liv with Ivy and Porter.
After the blessing we had lunch at the park. This was Ivy's first try at the "big kid" swing with my Dad, and she did pretty good! She sort-of crashed though when it was time to get off. She forgot to wait for help...oops!
We all went to the aquarium and thought it was pretty cool! If you can't tell those are sharks behind Ivy in this picture.

My Mom and Dad also came out, and my Mom even got to stay for the full week. We went shopping, and to the butterfly pavilion (and I forgot my camera, of course). It was such a fun week! Ivy and Porter are crazy about their Nann and Grandpa.

Happy Mothers Day
I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day! I don't think I've ever appreciated my mom as much as I do now, and I'm sure my appreciation for her will continue to grow as my kids get older, and I get to experience first hand all of the things she has done for her family. I hope I can live up to her standards! Hooray for mothers!

1. Vacuum
2. Finish reading: "Smart Couples Finish Rich" for book club next week! So far it's a good one Shelley!
3. Go grocery shopping
4. Finish filling out John's FAFSA
5. Put away laundry

1. Ice cream counter/deli at Lee's Marketplace
2. Movie theater
3. Massage Therapist
4. Office assistant at a family practice

1. Buy my dream house with TONS of space and a big yard
2. Pay off John's student loans! AHHHHHH!
3. Start my own business. I would love to be able to buy old houses, fix them up and resell them.

1. I have ADD big time. I just can't focus on anything! I drive John crazy.
2. I love food. Luckily I have a pretty good metabolism becuase I just have no self-control!
3. I love spa treatments. Massages, pedicures, facials.... yum!
4. I hate having my feet touch dirty surfaces, like hotel floors! EWE gross! It gives me the creeps!
5. I am constantly getting myself signed up for things on my cell phone that we have to pay money for. I don't know how I do it- I swear I read the fine print. But by the time I realize it's something I'll have to pay for it's usually too late and then I have to tell John what I've done. I always get in big trouble!
