Can you believe it?!?! John is finally Dr. John! Wahoo! Graduation was great. John's family were able to be here for it, and we are all so proud of him!

A Sad Post, WARNING: extreme cheeziness to follow.
We are at such a bitter-sweet junction in our lives right now. On one hand, we are so excited and ready for John to graduate, and so thankful that he has a job. We are also so excited to be moving to Indiana and embracing all of the changes that come with a big move. The last few weeks have been spent in preparation for our move, and I've been so dang busy I haven't really had time to think about the things/people we will be leaving. When we moved to Colorado 4 years ago I was so afraid that we wouldn't have any friends, but how wrong I was! We have the most incredible ward family, and we couldn't have asked for a better support system to help us get through Medical School! Now that we're getting closer to the big day, I am beginning to realize that I'm seeing people for the last time, and seeing places for the last time (at least for a while!). I have a bit of a permanant lump in my throat today, not becuase I don't want to go, but because I just want to take everyone with me! I hope my friends here in Colorado know what a strong influenced you have made on my life. You are all such fabulous women, great examples of the type of mother I strive to be, and just the best friends. Thanks!

My cousin Neisha posted this on her blog, and I thought it would be fun!
The first five people to respond to this post will receive something made by me. HOMEMADE! The item will be my choice made just for you!
Restrictions and Limitations:
1.I have complete creative freedom
2. What I create will be just for you
3. It will be done within the next 6 months
4. You have no clue what it will be. It may be personalized note cards. I might bake something. I might not think of anything until 6 months from now.
The catch? You must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same giveaway to 5 people who comment. The first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift from me! Be sure to post a picture of what you get!
Anyone past the 6th comment will be entered in a drawing for another item!
some little things you may have missed
About a month ago we got to have our friend's the Boring's girls over for a sleepover while Brian and Mackenzie had a date night. Porter is such a flirt, and he just loves little Sadie...who wouldn't?!
Ivy thought our last snow-storm was pretty cool, seeing how Denver really didn't get any snow this winter. So we got brave and went out to make a snowman. The snow was so wet and heavy that it tipped over about 10 minutes later! Oh well.
Have you guys seen that commercial for the credit card with the little kid covered in Spaghetti? This is pretty close!
At the Zoo a few weeks ago with Morgan and Quinton. Ivy will miss these cute friends!
Last night Ivy went to bed with curlers......
And today we have curly hair! She feels very special with her curls ;)

Lots to do.
I realize my blog is in serious need of an update, and it has definitely been on my list of things to do for a while. The problem with that is that (a), there is really not anyting super exciting going on at our home and (b), there are a LOT of other things on my to-do list at the moment.
A couple of weeks ago we went to our new home, INDIANAPOLIS!!!! to find a house. We found a great one, and are so excited to own our own house. I have a million projects and big ideas in the works for it. John keeps telling me I need to be realistic, but I'm just so excited.
Then, the day after we got back from Indy, we took the kids and drove to Utah to visit family for a week. We got to hang out with my siblings, and Ivy and Porter got to play with their cousins. It was a fun trip, and I'm glad we had the chance to go. I am the biggest dork, I didn't take a single picture while we were there. What was I thinking? I guess I wasn't. Oh well!
Right when we got back from Utah, my Mom came to Denver for a visit. I always have such fun when she is here. She is so helpful, and the kids LOVE their Nann.
In my free time I am just working on organizing all of our stuff and getting things packed up. Moving is tons of work! But it is actually really nice to go through all of our stuff and get rid of the things we aren't using. Consider this my vow to never again accumulate junk!
Sorry for the novel! Hopefully my next post will be more fun!
