Kendall is such as sweetheart. I seriously don't even feel like I deserve to be her mom. How could I be so blessed? How could I be so lucky? She is my everything and I love her so darn much!
This month, Kendall:
- once again, got 4 more teeth, her molars, within a few days, for a total of 12 teeth
- loves to cuddle up with me while sipping on her milk and while she rubs my hand or slaps her tummy
- has gotten into the habit of biting, me especially, but she has bitten the men of the house a few times, too
- wants to flip the light switch every time she sees one
- says, "that" every time she wants someone to tell her what something is, which is all the time
- says, "light" and "eyes"
- gives high fives
- blows kisses
- points to her belly button or your nose and your eyes, if you ask her
- pants like a dog every time she sees the picture of a dog
- loves to "read" books, alone or with my help
- still screams louder than any kid I've ever heard, and she does it because she's happy or excited
- has screaming contests with Logan and Taylor
- eats everything we eat
- gets complimented on her fast crawling everywhere we go, and therefore has no desire to walk by herself, but does walk with assistance and enjoys it
- is tickelish in the neck, thighs, and sides
- does not like to sit still in church
- enjoys throwing toys across the room, cars, book, whatever she gets her hands on
- puts the phone to her ear, whether there is someone on the line or not
- love to play with electronics, anything that makes noise or has lights
- love to get soaked in the bath or pool
- is not afraid of water, at all, not even in her face
- loves to spin in the boys' football and basketball chairs
- pinches and slaps (out of love, I think)
- is warming her to the workers at the gym, which allows me to work out longer than 30 minutes
Kendall is starting to get into girly stuff, and I love it. For example, she likes putting necklaces on and off. And she absolutely loves to look at herself in the mirror. On the other hand, she hates having headbows in her hair, and pulls them out within 3 seconds. I look forward to doing even more girly stuff with her. After all, she doesn't have to be a tomboy just because she has two older brothers - she just has to know how to throw a hook, a jab, and an uppercut.

Marine's visit
Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman have been soooo lucky to have Marine spend the last month with them in Maryland. Then last week, our family enjoyed having her spend 4 days with us here in Ohio. Logan and Taylor especially loved "riding the horse" and having "sleepovers" with her. Even Kendall warmed up to her faster than I had anticipated.
Day 1: Bon-Papa, Bonne-Maman, and Marine arrived later than I had hoped, due to traffic, accidents, and construction of the roads. But we were still able to go see "The World's Fastest Indian" at Fryer Park, for free.
Day 3: Bonne-Maman and Marine went to the Splash Pads with Logan and Taylor, while Bon-Papa, Kendall, and I checked out The Book Loft. We later met up with them to play in the water. That afternoon, Marine and I went to the Easton Mall while Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman stayed home with the kids who were all napping. And that night, we had pizza because I had not had time to make dinner after spending 3 hours at the mall with Marine. 3 hours was actually not that bad, considering she spend 4 hours at the mall with Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman one day, and 5 hours at another mall with Tonton Fred and Taty Marie another day.

Day 2: It was kind of rainy that day, so we decided to go to the zoo. Then while the kiddos were napping, we got ready for their birthday party. Later we had the party with 8 of their friends. That evening, Kendall was so tired she actually fell asleep on Bon-Papa while sipping on her milk.

Day 4: On Sunday, we all went to church for one hour, except Marine. When we came back, she was still in bed, so we went into the room to wake her up, with pot and wooden spoons. LOL That afternoon, it was hot, so we went out on the deck to play in the pool and the pirate ship Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman got the boys for their birthday. While playing outside, we also had a water fight.
It was fun to see Marine, after 7 long years. A lot has changed - Marine went from being a little girl to a young woman, and I went from being wild and single, to married and a mom. I sure miss her, already.
Logan and Taylor's Birthday Party
When I think of summer birthdays, I think "sun, hot, water,... and ice cream." What better theme could there be for a summer birthday party than "Ice Cream"? Unfortunately, that day was kind of rainy... But we still enjoyed the ice cream, and especially decorating it however we wanted.
The boys had such a blast! Thank you Keira, Baya, Viena, Mason, Ethan, Carson, Clara, and Ben, for coming to Logan and Taylor's birthday party. And thank you Bon-Papa, Bonne-Maman, and Marine, for helping out with getting everything ready for the party.
