This year, Alexis's birthday fell on a Friday, so I made purple crepes in the morning.
Then I took her out of school for a sushi lunch date.
William got home early and she opened up her presents.
Then she had a Jurassic World birthday party at KTR. Her friends who came were: Blake, Kelsie, Hailey, Juniper, Callie, and Jane.
The following day, we went to Medieval Times. It's becoming an expensive tradition, but she loves it.
My baby girl is growing!
Alexis is such a sweet, cuddly girl. She loves affection. She also loves boys, cheer, and dinosaurs. Her most recent crush is Warner, with Recker as a back-up. She is a flyer on her Silver Sass team and loves every second of it. I worry that she wouldn't like cheer quite as much if she wasn't a flyer, so let's hope she continues to be a flyer. I've been telling her that it's hard work. She has to learn to balance. She also has to work on her flexibility. And she has to have some sass. She actually has a lot of sass, but she doesn't usually express it on the mat/stage.
She has a lot of imagination, but she has a hard time playing by herself. She always needs someone to be with her, play with her, and talk with her, even when she does most of the talking. She talks a lot, about a lot of different things. Most recently, she makes up a lot of things, which is typical for that age, so I'm not hugely concerned.
Alexis is 3'7'', which is in the 13th percentile. And she weighs 38.2 lbs, which is in the 11th percentile. So she's pretty tiny for her age, but not concerning.
We love Alexis to pieces, and we're so glad she is a part of our family. She puts a smile on people's face and melts their heart. She's our little sweetie...
