For those of you who did not know, last week I took Callie in for some testing to see if there is an underlying reason for her being so skinny. She got a couple of blood tests done and then got a sweat test to test her for Cystic Fibrosis. She did really well and only cried a little when they were drawing blood until someone came in and distracted her with bubbles. All tests came back normal. She is just plain skinny. She will hit 20lbs one day. Maybe by the time she is 18 months old.
Here are a couple of cute pictures of her while she was getting her sweat test. It was really interesting how they did it. They put a machine on her arms to stimulate the glands. Then they put gauze down and wrapped it up in layers of 3 different materials. It didn't seem to bug her at all. We just had to wait about 30 minutes so we went back out in the waiting room and she played.
