April

Here are some pictures from April.

Here is Callie in her Easter dress. This is what she does now when we pull out the camera to take a picture of her which is why we haven't taken many pictures these days. Another reason we haven't been able to get many pictures of Callie is that when we pull the camera out she just wants to play with it instead of letting us take pictures of her.

We were able to get her to move her hands for this photo.

We bought Callie this play set. She loves to go outside and play on it whenever the weather permits. She calls it her "wee."

At the beginning of this week we went to the zoo with my sister Ang and her kids Kade and Kylee. Here is Callie with her cousins.

I thought this was a pretty cool picture I got of the tigers. It was taken through glass so it is not crystal clear, but I thought it turned out okay.

While at the zoo we were in the building that houses the smaller animals. There were cats that looked like regular house cats. Callie loved looking at them. While we were watching them, one of the cats layed down and started to lick its' paws. Callie then proceeded to copy the cat. She got down on all fours and pretended to be licking herself like the cat. It was really cute. I wish that I would have been able to catch it on camera, but like always, as soon as the camera came out she stopped.

House Project

Since we only have the two bedrooms on the main floor and our next child will be a boy, we decided that it was time that we turn the office into a bedroom (the office will be moved to our partially finished basement). Nate just loves this project!! If we would have been smart, we would have had the house built this way to begin with. Unfortunately, children were not on our minds at that time we were building the house. Oh well, you live and you learn.
Nate framed in where the french doors used to be.

In the process of sheet rocking. It is all sheet rocked now, but we are still deciding what to do about the mudding and taping. Nate isn't sure whether to attempt to do it himself, or pay someone to come in and do it. I will have to take a picture when it is completely finished and painted, but that may not be for awhile. It should hopefully be before the little one arrives since this will be his room.

We now have two doors in this corner of the hallway instead of just the one.

Halfway to Huge

I decided to take tummy pictures this pregnancy since I didn't do it with Callie and I have regretted it. This is me at 23 weeks. I am much bigger with this baby than I was with Callie. With Callie my stomach always measured small, but with this little boy it is measuring right on the button so I may not luck out and have another small baby.
