Modeling

Here are some pictures of Callie practicing her modeling skills.

LIfe at home

Callie loves her little brother. She is always wanting to hold him and have him lay next to her.

Callie decided that Jace needed to have a ride on her turtle with her.

This is Jace after his first bath at home.

Introducing Jace Michael Harris

It was just after 11:00pm on the night of July 13 when I was surprised by my water breaking yet once again. When I told Nate he thought that I was just trying to tease him. I was in no hurry to get to the hospital since I figured I was going to be in labor for hours so I decided to take a shower and get all refreshed before heading out. My sister Cindy came and stayed with Callie while Nate and I went to the hospital.
Here I am just before heading out the door to the hospital.

Jace was born a short 5 hours after arriving at the hospital at 5:30am on July 14. He was 7lbs 2oz and 19in long.

Callie came to visit us at the hospital that morning. She was excited to meet her new little brother.

Jace had many visitors his first day of life. His Grandma and Grandpa Marx and aunts Nona and Hannah were there present for his birth. Jace arrived in just enough time for them to see him before they had to go to the airport to catch a flight that morning. Jace also got to meet his uncles: Aaron, Pat and Jared and aunts: Cindy and Ang along with cousins: Kade and Kylee. It is great to have such a support system surrounding us.
Jared came with Henry Weinhardts to keep up the tradition.
This is Jace just before we brought him home from the hospital.
