It has been raining a lot her lately. I feel like we have been transported to the northwest. But the other day we did get to see a beautiful rainbow right out our back door.

Favorite Foods
Jace has never really liked baby food and won't really touch it now. He only wants to eat what we are eating and he takes after his father. He likes meat. He always wants the meat off my plate. Last week we were eating tri-tip from Costco and Jace just sat there and threw a fit until I gave him a piece to suck on. He LOVED it. Once he was able to start getting pieces off it I had to take it away and he was furious.
Jace also takes ofter me and has a major sweet tooth. He loves anything sweet and especially loves Popsicles since he is teething.
This morning Callie was eating marshmellows and I said she could only have a few since they are just pure sugar. Then Callie just smiled and said, "I like pure sugar." And she does! :) She also has a major sweet tooth like her mommy. Luckily she also LOVES her veggies or I might be worried about her. One of her favorite snacks is frozen vegetables out of the freezer. She even likes frozen peas (YUCK!!!) not sure where she gets that one since Nate and I both despise them.Mother's Day
I had a good Mother's Day this year. Nate cleaned the house while I took a nap and then in the evening we got together with my family for dinner. The men did the cooking so I didn't have to lift a finger (except to eat my delicious dutch oven dinner of course).
My kids gave me a cake this year! It was a red velvet cake (also delicious).

Callie's First "On-Stage" Performance
Our Ward has a Spring Fling last night. It was a lot of fun. Callie's dance class performed their "Bunny Rabbit Blues" routine. All of the girls did pretty well. Most of them danced, but even the ones who didn't dance much still looked really cute. I was surprised that Callie danced. She is usually so shy, but I guess secretly she is a little performer. She had a great time and looked so cute while dancing.
Sorry the video is not the best quality. We were just using our little camera because all of the ones that record in HD had dead batteries.
