March

Here are some things that happened during the month of March.

Callie's pre-school group took a tour of the fire station. It was really cute. One of the firemen dressed up in his gear so the kids could see what a fireman would look like if the showed up at their house. They also gave each child a plastic fireman's hat. The kids had a lot of fun.

This next picture is an everyday occurrence, I just pulled out the camera this time. Nate and I cannot cook anything with out kids coming to help. It is cute but it does make things more messy and more difficult.

We took the kids to Farm Country one Saturday.

Jae had his first ride on a pony. He was crying and trying to climb off right when we put him on there. He was okay as soon as the pony started walking.

Callie on her pony. It is strange for us to have Jace after having Callie because Callie loved all animals and was never afraid of any of them and now we have Jace who loves animals from a distance, but is scared of all of them up close. He started screaming and crying when I tried to get him to feed the goats. He did not like them licking his hand.

We spent a little time in the inside play area there.

We also had the crazy Utah weather. A couple days of 70 degree weather and then a 30 degree drop and snow the next day. My kids loved going out and playing in it.

We also got a couple of fish for the kids. Callie's fish died after 4 days and we just got a new one last night from Grandma and Grandpa Marx. The fish are also now in a 10 gallon tank instead of this little 1 gallon one. Jace's is named George and Callie's is named Annie.

Callie's old goldfish was a chubby little fantail goldfish. Something funny that happened this morning... George got really close to Annie (the new Annie) and Callie said, "Look, I think George is trying to fall in love with Annie, but I don't think he likes her very much. I think he liked the chubby one better."

This is Callie and her friends being silly.

Look How Tall I am

A couple of weeks ago I put up a vinyl decal measuring chart in our kitchen. The kids absolutely love it. At least 5 times a day they have to stand in front of it. Callie always says "Look how tall I am" and when Jace stands in front of it he says, "See?" They make me laugh. They love it when we tell them that they are getting so big. The dots in the photo below represent their current heights.
