This is the text picture I got from Aubrey after she and Elan's intramural soccer game on Saturday.  Serious headache after being hit in the crown of the head by a drop kick, followed by nausea, and sensitivity to light.  Sounds like a classic concussion.  

After sleeping away the remainder of the day as well as the next day, Elan took her in for the official diagnosis and notes for work and school.  Concussion.

I spent Monday down in Alpine with her, but only saw her awake for a few short spurts.  Concussions have a way of literally 'putting your life on hold' .  Elan is awesome in caring for her and keeping on top of things at the house.  So grateful for the wonderful husband she has. Hoping for a quick and full recovery.

Tonight Brenna was introduced at New Beginnings program as a beehive entering the Young Women's program this calendar year.  It feels like girls always blossom within 6 months of their 12th Birthday!  She is definitely blossoming into a beautiful, kind, caring young woman.  So excited for her to join her sisters in Young Women's in July.

Our neighborhood beehives came to teach the activity days girls about the young women's program they will be entering when they turned 12.  Who better to teach you about it, than those who are part of it now.  They taught about personal progress, Wednesday night activities, Sunday lessons, camp, Oakcrest, and shared ideas about how to memorize the YW theme.

The activity day girls made 'beehives' of pudding and oreo's to share with their friends. Such great girls!

Remembering our ski champions - Lindsay, Kayla, and Aubrey after a full day of cross country skiing up at Soldier Hollow.  Life was busy then with 4 small children, but I'm so grateful for the fun memories we created during those years!  I love this pic of them!

Brenna wore her favorite dress to the ortho to get her braces on

2 hours later she had a mouth full of braces, brackets, & springs, as well as her very own 'Tonight's Scoop with Jimmy Fallen' ice cream.  Pretty good way to end the day. 

Another year of participating in the Tiny Dance Co Recital, this year to support their friend Alexis. 

Brenna was happy to dance this year without a boot and Em was happy to have more friends in her age group.

They may or may not have had more fun watching Mance Co. than performing themselves.  Shout out to Max!

With Em moving onto Bingham next year, this was their last year performing at Tiny Dance Co, together.

Sending this cute girl back to BYU after a super fun winter break!  She is headed down to a full load of classes and her 1st on campus job, and she is ready!  We have LOVED having her home these past few weeks
