Wow! It goes so fast and I know that is horribly over stated but it is so true. I swear it was just yesterday that I was embarassed by how much pain I was in during labor as Carrie and Kevin looked on and Itried to bring me ice chips or whatever. (It really was just a few days ago for you Jennifer and those days are quickly approaching for 2 more friends/cousins). Kenzie makes me smile every day. I don't care how bias I am I think she is so cute and her laugh brightens my day just thicking of it. She loves her big brother, can empty out a drawer in 2 minutes, gives great open mouth kisses, hits the window on the door trying to tell you how much she wants to go outside, and can almost out eat me. She is a little bit of a mommy's girl but when I am out of the room she will share her smile with just about everyone. I gave her her last bottle last night and enjoyed every minute of it. I am also truly enjoying buying the girly clothes and bows and fixing hair and all of that stuff.
But enough of the mushy stuff, here are the pictures. I truly wish I had a camera with me on her actual birthday. We went to see Jennifer and the new baby Ainsley in the hospital and decided to take Anneliese with us out to eat before heading back home. Well once you are close to downtown you have to eat at a fun downtown Austin restaurant. Right? It just so happens that the 1st restaurant we came to was Crown and Anchor. Maybe that is closer to a bar but it serves hamburgers and grilled cheese and great draft beer. What more could you ask for. Therefore, Kenzie had a burger at Crown & Anchor for her 1st birthday but no pictures.
I will share the pictures from our Tulsa trip where we celebrated Aunt Marla's, Melinda's, and Kenzie's birthday as well as shared some great family time. Thanks to Krista and Robie for being wonderful hosts.

Of course Klayton enjoyed some cake too and truly enjoyed some playing with Austin.
The pictures don't capture all of the fun of the weekend. It was three days of visiting, swimming, eating, and a little drinking as well. We drove to Tulsa and it was a little over 7 hours and the kids did wonderful. They slept, ate, and Klayton's new favorite thing is to listen to the ipod so that helped pass some time as well. Now it is time to get ready for Kevin and Klayton's birthdays.
