Ready for Kindergarten

My little boy is going to go to kindergarten. Wow! What fun and I was definitely excited about graduation but this time not quite so emotional. Just excited for Klayton. As usual my camera was mis behaving but here are a few snaps. Klayton is in the back row 2nd one in.

They even sang a lovely song for us.

As you can see, Klayton was pretty excited but he did get shy in front of his classmates. Luckily he didn't notice that he was the only kid who didn't get balloons and flowers after graduation. Why didn't anyone tell me that graduating from pre-kindergarten meant balloons and flowers. Where have I been? I guess taking him out to dinner will have to do.

Easter

I know it is a little late but the highlights are still fun right? It has been a busy few weeks because I have been covering for people who are out of town at work. So I will say once again, all you mothers who work 40 hours on a regular basis and take care of kids, God bless you. It is not for me. Combine that with over tired from pregnancy and I am a little grouchy to say the least. Whoops, I digress.
Back to Easter, my sisters made it in. What fun! And maybe we should say what chaos. Eight kids and 10 adults in one house for 3 days is bound to be chaos but it was fun.
First it was Henke Hill and fun with cousins and even some horse seeing.

We were at Grandpa's house so we had to make time for dominoes.
And colored eggs from the chicken yard are even more fun.
Don't you just love the monstrous bib and bizillion necklaces she is wearing.

Easter Sunday was wonderful. We were all able to go to mass together and I think we only lost one kid to the back of church and that was a baby and after communion. I call that a success.

We were also able to baptize the new babies and all pose for a wonderful group picture.

Then we were headed back to Austin for one more egg hunt with Laura and Tyler. Laura did all the work for the kiddos and they had a great time. Kenzie is such a diva.
Of course I should have better pictures of the kids hunting but my camera...you know the rest of the story so here are just a few snaps.

I have to end with some great snaps of Aunt Mel spoiling the kids with ice cream from the ice cream truck. Trouble for sure.
