Catching up!
Wow it has been forever! Instead of posting lots and lots of words about what is new with the Lang 4 I will post pictures! A brief synopsis is that Alex is thriving in Kindergarten. We had his conference this week and he is well above where he should be. Max is moving all over and starting to pull up on things. It won't be long before he is walking. I am enjoying another school year. I have a very large class but they are all great students. Nick is busy at work and preparing for the long holiday hours.

June 2010
School's Out for Summer!!! I have been very thrilled for summer break to get here. Since going back to work in March I have felt like I have had no time to catch up and get things done that need to be done. This is my first summer with 2 boys and I am ready for the adventure. Also, this is the first time that when I left school in June I knew what I would be teaching come Fall time. So therefore, I won't be doing school related things as much this summer. Our first week of summer is concluding and I must say we are in a pretty good routine. I have been running in the morning with some ladies from work and then coming home and starting my day. Max is almost 6 months old now, which is hard to believe. He is rolling over, laughing, smiling constantly and doing lots of LOUD talking. He is ALWAYS moving and never stops. He has begun eating foods now, and I am making all his baby food. It is going very well and easier than I thought it would be. Alex is being the typical 5 1/2 year old. I am racing him to tennis, and t-ball games, which is fun but busy. He continues to enjoy reading, drawing and imaginative play. This fall he will be in Kindergarten and I am not ready. He is MORE than ready and I know he will do great it's me that I am worried about. Well there is our life in a nut shell!

Memorial Day Up North
This past weekend we went up north with family. It is always a lot of fun. This was Max's first time up north and it was a lot of fun. We went to a craft show and shopping in downtown Tawas. We also spent lots of time outdoors with NIck's sister and her kids. Also on Sunday we got a call that Nick's brother (Ben) and his wife were at the hospital having their new baby. On Sunday our new niece and cousin, Lorelai, entered the world. It was a great weekend!

Old Friends are the Best Friends!
SOme say the old friends are the best friends and I have found this to be true. I have a group of girlfriends that surpasses all the rest. Sure we may not see eachother every day or even talk every day but we are always there for eachother when the other needs. Between us lots of life situations we have seen and helped the other through. We meet for birthdays or other mom's night outs and recently have been talking of future play dates. My how our conversations have changed. We now laugh and talk about bottles, nursing, husbands, etc. etc. etc. I love these girls and nothing will take their place in my life. I look forward to spending more and more time with them and watching our kids go. I hope that Max and Alex will find friends in Maddie, Mason, Averie, Bella, NOah and future babies. I love to join with my girls and talk about all we have been through and where we are headed. They have helped me though lots of lifes struggles and been there to celebrate God's blessings. We have prayed for one another, cried for another and leaned on one another. Thank you Molly, Janna, Lauren, Sarah and Erin for being such special friends in my life :)

3 Months Old
Max turned 3 months old this week! I can't believe it has been 3 months already. Time sure is flying! He continues to make us smile and enjoy every second with him. I am sure his favorite person is Alex. Alex is still amazing us with how wonderful he is with Max. He wants Max to be included in everything he does. It is amazing to me how Max knew Alex's voice from day 1. I remember being pregnant and Alex talking to Max in my belly. He truly is a wonderful big brother! Max is smiling and laughing all the time. He continues to sleep pretty well through the night. He has found his hands and loves to grab at his toys. He babbles and talks to us all the time!! Sometimes he is quite loud :) We are loving having 2 boys even with all its craziness!
