First Dentist Visit

IMG_2513IMG_2517IMG_2519

Luckily Kelsey’s uncle is a Pediatric Dentist in St. George so I’m sure that made her feel more comfortable (maybe the flat screen on the ceiling, the princess toothbrush, a new book and balloon helped too). I was pleasantly surprised at how well she did with all those things in her mouth. The only thing she didn’t like were the X-rays, and I don’t blame her they hurt me every time too!
No cavaties! Yay!

Fun Pictures in Hurricane

DSCN4470

Thanks to my sis in law, we got these really awesome shots of the girls. It was spur of the moment and these girls were tired as heck so we took a lot of pictures and got a couple good ones out of it. I love this last picture of Kelsey, I want to cut off the buildings in the background and frame it. The top one was the best one of them together, I’ll take it! Smile

Hurricane, UT

I can't say Hurricane without my hick accent, ha! Hurricane is not as small a town as some of our other family in Colorado but definitely still gettin used to it...yall. No, I really love it. It is such a different world then So Cal.
A friend of our was sealed in the St. George Temple so we went up this last weekend. They were sealed in the same sealing room as we were sealed in almost 5 years ago so that was neat to be back there. So of course we took our little family to snap some pics, we were all looking at the camera that doesn't happen.
Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures :( I'm the worst at taking pics on vacai because I just am on vacation, OK.;)
We did get some super cute pics of the girls that involve a rusty old truck and a field...they are coming soon.

1st Day of Pre-School

IMG_2477IMG_2483IMG_2488

Kelsey made it so easy for me, she walks in the room, doesn’t need any sort of reassurance from me, sits down at the table and starts painting. I snapped a quick picture and walked out. No screaming and crying involved. This is what I love about having an outgoing child!

One of her favorite friends go to the same school so that makes it easy too.

Sparkly backpack was a birthday present…I kinda want one too.

Today, I’m 1!

Brookie’s 1 today! Can’t believe it…

A year ago today, I went into labor, on Labor Day… all my Dr’s were on vacai, we almost didn’t make it to the hospital and I almost didn’t get my epidural! But look what we got!

Brooklyn has been walking for 3 weeks now, she loves to say Dog and bark like one. She also says momma, dadda, hello, hi, uh-oh, oh wow and no. It also sounds like she says “whatzthat” but not  officially sure that’s what she’s saying.

She is my little go getter. The day she came home from the hospital and since then I think she’s been wishing her little body would work the way its working now. She loves playing with her sister and thinks she can keep up with the big kids. She has been such a joy to have in our lives, I love her so much.

Stats: she is 20 lbs, 4 oz.

She is sleeping much better through the night but we still have our moments. Smile

Can’t believe Kelsey is 3! Happy Birthday sweetheart. (This is a belated post, but better late then never!)

The morning of her birthday, my little ham and all her many faces. NBD just reading Sports Illustrated.

Princess Party

Our princesses celebrated their birthdays together last Saturday with all their princess friends. My girls don’t sit still enough to get any sort of normal picture so there’s Kelsey’s bum instead!

My whole family came out, including my dad from Idaho which was so nice of him to drive all this way. It was so nice for the girls to see how much family love them and support them and I appreciate it too!

Brooklyn was loving her first cake, she preferred a fork to her hands and then switched to a spoon. I thought for sure she would barf from all that cake, but she held it all together! As you can see in the pics, she was loving it.

Unfortunately it was the hottest day of the year so our faces are extra shiny, our friends were troopers to come sit in the heat. The kids didn’t care of course, they were all red faced especially Kelsey who I could barely take any picture of because she was running around so much.

Can’t believe I have a 1 and 3 year old!
