Snowing in Vegas?

I can't believe how much it snowed in Vegas?! Its crazy! They said it snowed 8" at the most. It was pretty fun to see the valley covered in snow. Kelsey didn't like it so much on her face. They had to cut a bunch of trees down in our complex because the branches fell from the weight of the snow. Pretty funny seeing palm trees with snow on them, they didn't know what to do. :) Not the greatest picture of Kelsey and I but you can see the snow.

Getting in the Christmas spirit...

My cousin Kat and I have spent all day getting in the Christmas spirit by baking 86 cookies! It took quite a long time but we had so much fun doing it. Now we need to give them away, anyone want???? :)

1st Picture with Santa

So, I wasn't going to do this because I wasn't sure if it was worth it. But, after my family told me it was definitely necessary to get her 1st picture with Santa, we gave in. Glad I did it, its one of those memories that you want to keep. This was taken with the Santa at Town Square, quality of the picture is not that great but it still turned out cute. Luckily she's not old enough yet to know that a scary man is holding her, I can't wait until she's screaming in the pictures! The picture below is my sister and I in our cute little plaid dresses.

Over the weekend...

If you like trashy reality shows...

Here's Evan with a few of the people on those trashy reality shows that we watch sometimes. ;) If you can't tell who the first one is its Flava Flav, Evan was apparently a bit nervous so he was shaking while he took it, haha. The second is "former" Hugh Hef's no. 1 girlfriend. I told him he couldn't leave me for either! j/k And yes Flava Flav was wearing a big clock and he DOES talk like you hear him on the tv. My question is, why are they flying coach on Southwest??

3 months...

I decided to take some pics of Kelsey and realized she'll be 3 months this Thursday, I can't believe it! She is such a wonderful blessing and a joy to have. A list of her favorite things: smiling, trying to giggle (she almost can), yelling, talking, sucking on her hands, swinging, sleeping through the night, eating (of course), pooping, taking baths and sitting in her bumbo chair, oh and she loves the tv (I don't feel guilty, sometimes you just need a break!)

SB Fire Update!

Well, the good news is the fire has pushed back into the mountains away from all the homes. My grandma, sis and her husband are all back in the house cleaning the mess the ash has left. They say it was a man made fire, so sad all those homes! Friends of my grandmas say they went back to there homes after they were evacuated and people had robbed them of there tv's and computers. I can't believe people would rob someone at such a vulnerable time!

Fire in Santa Barbara

There is an awful fire in my hometown of Santa Barbara, it started last night around 5pm. Its literally a couple miles away from where my family lives. My sister took these pics last night on our street before they evacuated, as you can see the flames are so close. They grabbed everything they could, luckily they had time ot pack things. My grandma, sister and her husband are staying with friends in the meantime, just waiting to see what happens. My grandma drove back to grab more things and she said the house is a mess, full of ash and everything. As of now, they have 0% contained and its burned so many homes. The winds are supposed to pick up this afternoon, 50-70mph, our house could very easily be destroyed. Please keep them in your prayers! I'll keep this updated as time goes on, its all over the news as well. The green star is where our house is!

Bunkers Halloween Bash

Last night was the Bunkers famous Halloween party, if you can't guess who we are then WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!!! lol. I tried to make Evan look like McCain but he looks like a zombie more than anything with that stark white face and those dark circles under his eyes. Kinda scary, I felt like I was getting a look into the future at what he might look like when he's 80! :/ Haha, just kiddin babe. And I'm trying to do that smile Palin does, not sure if I have it quite yet. I am happy to say we won "best couple" award. The other picture is of McCain and Joe Jonas (aka Jordan), we had a lot of fun and ate a lot of really good food, thanks Bunkers!

What we've been up to

More pics from Santa Barbara, where Kelsey and I were for a week and a half. It was sooo hot there, in the 90's with no air conditioning that we had to put Kelsey down to her diaper because she was way uncomfortable, ya not fun crying all day. So here she is with great grandma, aunt Holly and Uncle Justin.

Baby Pumpkin

Kelsey and I were in Santa Barbara for a week and a half visiting family and hanging out. While we were there we took Kelsey to a pumpkin patch to try to get some cute photos of her in her little pumpkin outfit. She was really fussy and didn't want to cooperate, but here are a couple that turned out cute. Oh, and me and scarecrow gettin fresh!

Evan's 10 year reunion

Last weekend we drove to Casa Grande (outside Phoenix) for Evan's ten year reunion. We had a lot of fun meeting all his friends, he keeps in touch with most of them so there wasn't too many unfamiliar faces. We enjoyed a football game, a picnic and a dinner...but we're ready to stay at home for one weekend!

Kelsey's blessing

We travelled up to Utah two weekends ago to have Kelsey's baby blessing at Evan's sisters home. Evan's sisters baby, Elizabeth was also blessed and his parents were set apart to go on their mission to Boston. Lots and lots of blessings. Evan gave a beautiful blessing and she only cried a little bit until someone put the binky in her mouth. Aaargh, the binkies!!!
