Kelsey is 6 months!














Kelsey is 15lbs 13oz. and 26 1/4" long.
We just love Kelsey at 6 months, she's SO much fun. Always laughing and smiling. People always tell me what a good baby she is and that I am so lucky... I'm very lucky! This month she's enjoying her solids, so far her favorites are peas and apples, and she's such a good eater. She has mastered sitting up all by herself, she loves to make the loudest and high pitched sounds possible, she loves to wake up around 1 or 2 AM and say dadadadadadad (on and on and on, its better than crying I guess), she loves to go to sleep at 7pm and sleep until 5:30am (except for those times when she babbles), she will happily respond to anyone who calls her "pretty" and "you're such a happy girl" and she loves to look at pictures and play with her toys.
I couldn't choose just one picture, they're all so cute. I also can't take a picture of her without her mouth being wide open, kinda funny.
(If you click on these pics to enlarge her cute little tush, don't make fun of the hairy patch on her back ok, she totally can't help it. She gets that from daddy hee hee ;)

Cute pics today


Our heater is finally working, its been freezing for the last couple of weeks. So anyway, I let Kelsey be naked for a while in her room and she loved looking at herself in the mirror. So cute.

I never get pictures with her and I in them so today I tried to get a cute one, its pretty cute ;)

Kelsey started her first veggies this week, PEAS! I'm excited because the girl needs some fiber in her diet (she poops once a week, is that normal?). She doesn't like them in the morning, but she loves them at night. ?

I chopped it off!


So, I just couldn't take it anymore. I've been wanting to do this before I was prego, but everyone told me I would regret it and plus I wanted to have long volumptious hair for pregnant pictures :). So I finally did it and cut off 8"! (If I wasn't so selfish I could've waited 2 more inches and given it to locks for love.) So, I know what you all are thinking, I totally got the mom-do! But I love it, and don't regret it.
You like Kelsey's bald spot? She came that way.

Kelsey's 5 months!!!

Kelsey absolutely loves talking, she talks all day everyday, especially in church when its quiet. Sorry! This month she enjoys rolling on her tummy, trying to crawl (the knees come under her but she doesn't go anywhere yet, thank goodness). She puts everything in her mouth, of course, and she sometimes enjoys rice cereal. She's not so good on taking naps anymore though, she used to sleep 2-3 hours in the afternoon, now its only 45 minutes! That stinks for me! She still doesn't have any teeth coming in but she's definitely teething. She's so much fun and we love every minute we spend with her.

Our new house...


We love our new house, its nice to finally be in a house! The downstairs is pretty small and dining/kitchen/living room is all one big room. We have a brand new tv and couch, our couch is big, but its sooo nice having a bigger couch then a love seat (we can finally have people over). Sorry this took so long to post, I finally got over the fact that I will never have the house picture perfect ;)
Yay! I finally got to decorate the nursery. I love the chocolate contrast to all the white. I'm trying to go for a more contemporary shabby chic, if that makes sense to anyone else. I'm not done yet, I still need a really cute rug.
We have other rooms in the house, but they're a mess so maybe next time. :)

Moving!




So, I know this is long over due but I feel like I still need to post about it for my own sake. Anyway, obviously all of you know we moved to Newhall, Ca. Here are some pictures from all of our wonderful friends that we miss so much. I especially enjoyed the donuts and carmel rice crispies "Thanks Shannon and Jeanne!" Thank you all for all your help.
