Dance Class
It’s the end of dance class, for now. I’m terribly sad that Kelsey is not that into it but, what do you do, she is 2 after all! She pretty much tells me she doesn’t want to go and 50% of the time we end up leaving early so I thought, this is more work than it should be so we’re outty!
I’m afraid she might like soccer a lot better. I told my girlfriend that I’m not a soccer mom, but I guess I can become one. I drive a minivan, it pretty much goes with the territory. Haha ![]()
She would rather make out with the mirror then dance to the music. I tell ya, she is in her own world.
Family in Laguna Hills
So excited to have more family in Cali! The girls and I took a mini vacai (well if you can call travelling with children a vacation) down to Laguna where my cousin now lives. It was perfect weather and my girls were loving the dog and cats around to play with. Cruiser, would not leave Brookie alone he was always looking out for her. Excited for more fun times with my cuz. Lani, I didn’t get one picture of you, what the heck?!

Happy Birthday to my Hubby
Today is Evan’s (32nd) Birthday! We had filet mignon and a yummy salad and an oreo ice cream cake to finish it off. Kelsey has been obsessed with birthdays since hers is coming up soon and she thinks everyone has to have a themed party (her’s will be ‘princess’ of course) so she said “It’s daddy’s basketball birthday party!" So, I got out his bball shoes, jersey and shorts (pulled right from the gym bag) and decorated our wall. Haha…delicioso!
(Notice Brooklyn and Evan’s stunned look…I had to yell at Kelsey to “look at the camera” to get her attention. It scared the other 2 but doesn’t ever phase my crazy toddler.)
Grandma's Memorial
We had a nice family home evening the night before the memorial with all the fam at the church. We shared stories, laughed and cried together. It was nice to talk about her and how much she meant to all of us. The memorial was lovely and the chapel and overflow were filled, she was dearly loved by so many. It was great to also have a mini family reunion, I met people and got to see people that I hadn't seen in years. Thank you all for being there and doing so much!
Grandma Ruth
Last month we lost our precious Grandma Ruth, she was 94 and full of life but her body just could not go anymore. She moved from Santa Barbara last September to be closer to my Aunt in St. George.I visited her in March and these are the last picture I have of her. She was like a mother to me and it’s hard to have her gone from this earth but I know I will see her again!
She loved being around my extended family and didn’t want to go with my Aunt when my Aunt was leaving, she wanted to stay and be around all the children.
Love you Gram.
Traci and the Boys, 4th of July
We had so much fun with my sis-in-law and my nephews when they came out to visit us over 4th of July weekend. Kelsey enjoyed having someone to play with at all times, and all their fancy toys. It was so nice to spend time with Traci, I will miss her when she moves further away.
