We spent the afternoon at the Sacramento Zoo with the Hill’s. It was free!  It was cold! Pretty crowded too. But we had fun. This will be another Christmas Eve tradition.

Tessa was afraid of Santa again this year and Sylvie wouldn’t keep her hands off her face.

And the food was delicious! It was a good time with our family and friends.

Last year, the kids loved going to the bounce house place. So, we decided to do that again this year and work off some of those Thanksgiving dinner calories we consumed!

Friday night, Tami and Dan and Julio and I got to go to a movie! So nice to leave the kids behind with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle B!

Played lots of games and goofed around.

We decided to stick around one more day so we could do a little day trip to Boise. The original plan was to go to the zoo, but it was raining, so we made a plan B. We went out to eat, then went to the state capital and explored.

There were a lot of cool things to see and learn about at the capital. After, we went to the mall-bad idea. So we drove back.

That night, Tami and Dan got out their tree to decorate. The Christmas season began-at least at their house. We had a great time spending the holiday with the family. It’s nice that Tami and Dan have a nice big house to accommodate all of us. Thanks guys!
