Last night I took the girls to the Lonoke parade. They got a lot of candy and saw tons of friends. Hailey didn't know quite what to think of the parade, but I think she liked it. I thought for sure she would cry when the fire engine sirens were going off, but she didn't. She did enjoy all the candy that Callie kept slipping back to her ;)
After that it was off to the county fair. We picked up Brad and met Grandpa and Grandma Shelton over there. Of course the first ride of the night was the carousel (Callie's favorite).
The girls loved all the little animals. Kayla's favorite was the baby calf, I forgot to get a picture of that.
I thought Callie would be a little scared once she got to the top of the slide. But she wasn't scared at all, in fact she was wanting to go on a lot of the big adult rides and we kept having to tell her she wasn't big enough. I think she's going to be our little daredevil.
Brad and I didn't go on any rides, except he did finally go on the ferris wheel (we didn't want Callie going up with just Kayla). Of course, the girls would have probably felt safer by themselves, since Brad tried tipping it forward as it was going! He just loves to tease them.
Sorry the lighting is not good on a lot of these. Maybe my sweet honey will get me a new camera for christmas, since mine is broke :) hint hint....

My surprise
I got a nice surprise when I came home from my doctors appointment today. My father in law had sent me a beautiful arrangement of flowers congratulating me on my pregnancy. Isn't that the sweetest thing? I think they are some of the prettiest flowers I have ever gotten.
The doctors appointment went great. Everything was right on track and the heartbeat sounded good. And I made an appointment for my ultrasound in 2 weeks! So we should know Oct. 5th.

Papa's work picnic
Papa invited all of us to go to his work picnic again with him this year. We love going to his work picnic, because it's better than any one we've ever been too. They have a bingo game at the beginning of it and everyone has a chance at winning money (not just the workers), so it makes it exciting even for the kids. We also had a yummy lunch, followed by a lot of fun games outside afterwords. Our family didn't have much luck at bingo, but grandma Debbie won $50 and Grandpa Billy won $500! So we were all super excited about that. We had a great time, thanks for inviting us grandpa.

Oh, and as you can see in the pictures it is still very HOT around here. It has been in the 90's all last week and is supposed to be a high of 95 today. I am ready for some cooler weather. It is still to hot to go on walks outside and I miss it.

Kayla's crush
Kayla just wrote a letter to Justin Beiber. I caught a peek of it when she wasn't looking, it said: "Dear Justin, my name is Kayla and I am your biggest fan. I just want you to know that I'm not like some of those stalker girls that follow you. Those girls are psycho. I am very nice. And I think you are very cute and that you have cute eyes. "
LOL! How cute is that?

15 Week baby bump
Well it's been 4 weeks since I posted my last baby bump, so here is my latest picture at 15 weeks. I had the first person tell me I was starting to show last night, so I guess it's official. I've been feeling fabulous, so I can't complain there. The time has seemed to be going fast too, but we'll see if I still feel that way at the end:) So far this baby is treating me pretty good.
We should find out what it is in 3 weeks as long as the little on cooperates.
And some other exciting news that I wanted to mention is that we are planning on going to Wyoming for Thanksgiving. As long as the weather cooperates anyway. We all can't wait, it is all that Callie can talk about. I keep trying to tell her that it's going to be a little while before we go.

Pics I forgot to post
Here are a few more pictures from our vacation that I never posted. They were when we were at Billy and Debbie's resort. They had a "lazy river" by their pool, it was a lot of fun.

A very happy birthday!
Today was Callie's 4th birthday. I can't believe she is turning into a little girl and is not my little toddler anymore. We had such a great day! She got lot's of phone calls, cards and gifts from all the many people that love her.
We started out the day by heading up to Little Rock where we met Misti and her two girls for a day at The Wonder Place. We hadn't been there since the babies were just six weeks old, so they absolutely loved it.
They have so many different things that the kids can do there.
After that we headed home and rested for a little while. Later that night we met Papa, Grandma and uncle Cory for some pizza. Afterwords we came home and opened presents and had some birthday cake. She got so many great new things.

videos
I forgot to mention last week that Hailey started walking at 12 months. I tried to get a video of it, but she was far to distracted with her pretty new purse, so this was the best I could get. She has been so into purses and shoes and accessories lately. It is pretty funny. She will put pretty much anything that has a "handle" on it on her arm and carry it like it's her purse. The other day she thought Kayla's lunchbox was a purse, because it had a handle and yesterday she even put Kayla's sling back church shoe on her arm and carried it around everywhere. She's too funny!
She has also been getting into everything. Her favorite thing to do is to push Callie's toy chairs around the house and stand on top of them. Here is a pic of that and of a couple videos:
I also just had to make a note of this.... Callie just opened a birthday card that she got in the mail from her Grandma Ray and she said "This is the best money I've ever seen!"
Ha ha... to cute.
