34 weeks and counting!

My mom came to visit this past week and went to the doctor with me for my 34 week check up! Thank goodness...I was glad to have someone there with me for the ultrasound! Maybe Nathan will be home for the rest of them :) We got another peek at the little girl with an ultrasound, and it confirmed my suspicions that this one wanted to be just like her big sister and is in the breech position. We go back for the 36 week check up and will decide to probably try to turn this one too since it was successful with Elizabeth. Fingers crossed!!! It was so great to have my mom here for a few days and help me finish up a few things for the room! Plus, Elizabeth had such a wonderful time with Grammie and kept her busy playing the whole time :) She has been asking when Grammie is coming back, and I keep telling her "soon...when she meets baby Carley"!!!

July

We have had a very busy July!!! Nathan has been flying a lot, and will come home for about a week at the most before he goes on another trip. So, I decided to take Elizabeth to Texas for a week while Nathan was gone (he is usually gone for about 10 days-2 weeks at a time). It was a very nice and much needed break from the norm :) We really enjoyed seeing our family and friends. Here are a few things we have been doing in July!

Elizabeth had a lot of fun at the fire truck party of Kelly Irick's!!
The night we flew into Texas we went to see the cousins, Kaitlyn and Kylie, at their youth rodeo night. It was a lot of fun because Elizabeth loves horses and riding with the girls!

Here is Kylie getting some coaching from Aunt Jill!! She is riding Max, but Elizabeth calls him Blanco :)

The girls riding together, Kylie, Elizabeth, and Kaitlyn!
Uncle Bryan and Elizabeth watching the girls practice.
We did a lot of swimming and water activities in Texas to beat the heat. Elizabeth played on the slip n slide at Pop's (Nathan's Dad) house with Aunt Cara!
Elizabeth loved to swim in Grammie and Grandpa's pool. We had some good friends over one day, Cate and Weston!!!

Elizabeth loves to swim by herself!
Eating her first snow cone in Texas :)
I think it might have been too sweet for her :) Mommy was happy to finish it for her!
Learning about cotton from Grandpa!! She LOVED it!
"wow, this is soft!!"
getting tickled with the cotton :)
Grandpa wanted to show Elizabeth his new grain bin.
Yikes, look how high they are...I think that is as far as they went!!
Elizabeth was pretty excited to see the big tractor!!
learning how to honk the horn
I think Elizabeth loves Grandpa's tractors!

After our week in Texas, we headed back home to SC! It was quite exciting to have both my sisters and two nieces join us on our trip back home. We got a lot of stares, smiles, laughs, cute comments as three adult girls each with a little girl oh her hand were walking around the terminals! Keri, Jill, Kaitlyn, and Kylie stayed with us for about a week, and we had so much fun!!! Nathan was LOVING all the girl attention :) We got Elizabeth a huge blow up water slide to have for her birthday party, and the girls sure did enjoy trying it out before the party :)
We spent a fun day at the beach, and then later went to dinner downtown with some friends!!
We took the girls to see Ice Age at the theater...so much fun!
