Best Friends!!!!!

These girls are truly best friends already!!!! Elizabeth is the most caring, concerned, and loving big sister!!!!

Carley lights up when Elizabeth is around and will constantly watch her, and want to give her kisses all the time. They are the sweetest girls to watch!

She is growing up way too fast!!!

Elizabeth was invited to a Valentine's Tea Party with some of her good friends! It was so much fun!! The girls got to dress up and decorate heart shaped cookies, read stories, and play together! So cute!!

She wanted to dress up in a pink fairy costume, and of all days to wear the littlest costume was on the snow day...haha. So, she had to wear a turtleneck and pants under it :)

Snow Day

The night of February 12, 2010 it snowed in Summerville, SC!!! We woke up the morning of the 13th and there was a ton of snow on the ground, this does not happen often in the Charleston area!!! We had SO much fun playing in the snow, building a snowman, and admiring the winter wonderland!! Dakota was even excited to see snow again!!

Trying to build a snowman, but the snow was too fluffy. So, there ended up just being a mound of snow that Elizabeth put a carrot nose on, with beans for the eyes and mouth. She was happy with it, so that is all that mattered :)

Catching up...

I can't believe I have not posted since the beginning of January...where did January go? Now it is February and so much has been going on here in SC.

First off...Carley turned 4 months on Jan. 23rd :) She is weighing in at a whopping 12 lbs 7 oz! Petite but Perfect!!! She has been such a joy, and is already rolling over and trying to keep an eye on her big sister! Elizabeth is so very sweet with her and loves to give her a kiss before every nap and bedtime!! Sweet Sisters!!!

In other news, we sold our house this past weekend on our first showing and are scheduled to move out in about 3 weeks!!! This has truly been a blessing considering the housing market and the fact that we are moving clear across the states to the west coast soon. Now, we can start looking for our new home in Washington!

And, I want to add some very exciting news about Nathan!!! He found out today that he is selected to pin on Major next year, AND is selected to be attending a military type school sometime in the future. This is a HUGE honor and we are SOOOOOOO very proud of our military man!!! He has worked very hard to get here, and is so happy to be recognized for his achievements!! Way to go Nathan!!!
