This is what I look forward to every year. The colors are so vibrant. I am always amazed at the boldness of the different colors. I wish I could paint so that I could catch the images of fall that I try to imprint in my head.
Annabelle has been so excited for her birthday. She marked it on the calendar at the first of September so that we wouldn't forget. We have been celebrating for a few days now. Last week she celebrated with a few friends during her "Backwards Birthday Bash", and yesterday we went to "Build a Bear Workshop" where she (and all the kids) got to pick and help make a stuffy. Then we had dinner at Papa Mickey's and Grandma Paula's. Today she went on a shopping trip with dad. (Anyone who knows Arne will know that she came home with lots of stuff "because it was cheap as dirt".) She is getting so big and we love her soooo much!
Annabelle had a party to celebrate her 9th birthday! We can't believe she is getting so big. She is such a sweet girl and we are so happy to have her in our family.
We decided to take advantage of Arne's vacation and head to Upstate New York where we enjoyed a couple days at "Six Flags Great Escape Indoor Water Park". The kids loved it! It was fun to watch the kids as they enjoyed the slides and lazy river. Here are a few glimpses into our quick vacation!
