Dedication Weekend

This past weekend Jack was dedicated at our church. Erik's parents and my family came to be a part of this special time. It was a fun and busy weekend! On Saturday night Grandpa, Nana, and Aunt Krystal babysat Jack so Erik and I could celebrate a late Valentine's Day dinner at the always yummy Del Frisco's. After the dedication on Sunday we all went to lunch and came back to our house for dessert. Jack made out like a bandit and ended up with a brand new wagon with his name on it from Grana (or as Erik calls her... "crazy nel"). We'll see what Jack ends up calling my mom....something tells me it's not going to be Grana:)

We are so proud of our little son and we continue to pray that he would be a man who loves the Lord and a man of the highest integrity.

Jack's cool new wagon! The bumbo fits perfect in it until he's big enough to ride like a big boy:)
I think he liked being in front of the church looking at all the people and lights.

Julie and Bethee came to visit:)

A couple of weekends ago my good friends from college (Julie and Bethany) came to visit. Julie traveled all the way from Orlando to spend the weekend with us and play with Jack. We went to Mi Cocina so Julie could get some yummy Mexican food, hung out the park, Julie and Bethee babysat Jack, made puppy chow, and of course loved on Jack. He adored them and loved all the attention! We can't wait to see them again.

our little trooper

before church
so fun!
is this grass?
it's sooo hot mom!

Little Jack pushed through a rough week and finished the weekend strong! We took advantage of the 75 degree weather and made a few visits to our neighborhood park. He loves being outside!

4 months

Our little JackMan is 4 months old! We went to see Dr. G today so he could make sure we aren't miserably failing at parenthood and to get Jack's second round of shots. Jack was a pretty small baby when he was born (7 lbs, 19 inches) and he hit his first little growth spurt so now he is 15 lbs, 25 inches...tall and skinny just like Erik. He enjoys playing with toys, putting his hands -or anyone's hands for that matter- in his mouth, laughing, his Lindsay-lovey, being read to, espn HD, swinging at the park, repeating sounds he hears, attention, playing in his jumparoo, sleeping, and hanging out with the ladies at the nursery. He doesn't like loud noises, toys that are just out of reach, and the aggies...just kidding:)

We adore his fun little personality and we are loving the stage he is in right now!
