So...I might have some extra time on my hands this week and I am really excited about the project I am taking on. I have made scrapbooks for each of the kids for their first year. Basically 2 pg layout per month. I am on month 10 of J's and I haven't even bought G a book yet! He is almost 1 !!! So, I am a little behind :) But those boys just came too close together! I also have a Christmas book that I keep that I am 3 yrs behind on and a book from our last assignment that ends before J was born. Ho Hum. It is this kind of guilt that consumes me! So, I have decided after I finish these albums I am throwing in the towel!!!! I have been researching photobooks online and think that is the route I am going to take for a while. So here is my first stack of pictures that I picked up at Costco today. I had 415 pictures printed!!! Oh my gosh. They must have thought I was a freak!!! But to be honest, it wasn't that much money for a yr of pictures and I really prefer to sort them after I print them instead of trying to go back and forth on the computer to decide which one I want to print. Even though we have a whole room in our house that I have designated the craft room/office...I took over the work area in the basement. It is basically our garage since we don't have one. But there is this long work area that is perfect height for standing and the light is incredible. Light in the office is non-existent except for one old lamp...and my back always hurts if I sit and lean over a desk for too long. Since this is a marathon and all, I need perfect conditions. I will keep track of my progress and update you next week! We'll see how much I get done :) So excited!!! I think a trip to Michael's is in the works for tomorrow!!

i love it when friends come to visit
This past week we had to great pleasure of my friend from junior high/high school and her family come to visit! It was so wonderful to see her and watch her in action as a mom! She is an awesome mom btw and i only wish we lived closer so I could learn from her and our kids could be close like we were long ago. They live in Colorado and were in the area visiting family and made a special trip to come say hello. I love the kind of friends where you can pick up right where you left off, who know everything about you and still love you the same :) Thanks for coming to visit guys!

Pancakes!
I sure hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. I think I am still in shock that N is back to work :( So sad. The kids and I are in denial. He was home for almost a month! This job has some perks after all! One of the gifts that he got me for christmas was this pancake mix. I usually buy the krusteaz mix from the grocery store and we have pancakes about once a month. But, this mix was so wonderful! Run to your nearest williams-sonoma and get you some!!!! Seriously, I have never had pancakes this good, ever! It helped that they were brought to me in bed and made by N... But they tasted so yummy. Just needed to share... Carry on Carry on.
