The end of school is always such a busy time... it just kind of sneaks up on you... this year was no different. There were a lot of end of the year field trips, parties, award ceremonies, play days and much more. The boys have both had wonderful teachers this year and a fabulous year in general. Mrs. Burtness and Mrs. Angie not only taught my boys this year but loved them too. I'll start with Mr. Zac.

Zac has grown up so much this year. He is still an impulsive little rascal... saying whatever comes to mind and reacting to most situations without a lot of thought (which usually results in lots of laughter and on occasion tears). He is a riot and keeps everyone laughing. He can be a stinker, but he is also one of the most loving little boys you will ever meet... he has had the nickname "kissing bandit" this year! I just love this little guy and so does everyone he meets! He has more personality than his little 40 lb body knows what to do with some days! He has learned to recognize all letters of the alphabet, write his name, count to 100, all about Jesus + lots of poems and bible verses, how to sit in his seat (major accomplishment), and so much more! I couldn't be prouder of my little blondie. His class took a field trip to the alligator farm but I had to miss that one. I did however, get to go to the one out at Timber Lodge. I cannot believe that my Zachy finished K-4 and will be starting Kindergarten next year. You make me so proud to be your mama little man!

Nate.... where do I begin. This was Nate's first year in public school and he excelled beyond our expectations (which were pretty high because we know he's pretty sharp)! Every semester he made the Principal's list and at the end of the year he was recognized for superior achievements in art, PE, math, reading, and more (I have yet to upload the few pics I have from this event)! Nate is a "man's man"! He loves hanging with the boys at recess and is so NOT into girls right now (as opposed to Z who is girl crazy and has told us that girls think he is "HOT")! Nate loves to draw and is a really good reader. He loves all things science and really loves learning about animals, especially dinosaurs! He is getting tall and has turned in to such a big boy... there is no trace of baby or toddler left anywhere in him. He is a loyal friend and a wonderful big brother. Nate, you make me so proud and I love you even if it drives you crazy when I tell you that you are soooooooooooooo much like me (and your daddy too)! Like both of your parents you have a stubborn streak a mile wide..... so do your brothers.... hmmmmm....
