Final night in NM

Our last night in NM, my parents had to leave, so Kendal and I were alone in our hotel room. Madison was being so silly that night. Here she is saying "cheese" for the picture.

The background noise is kind of loud, but you can hear her say "Papa", "ali", and "cheese".

Pics from NM Trip

Ali, Ryder and Kendal It had been a rough day and she was tired. She put her little hand up there all by herself.

Volleyball Tourney

We had a great time watching Ali in the State Volleyball Tournament. We were sad that they didn't win, but she played hard. I can't believe she's a senior! I wish we had taken this picture standing up, so you can see how tall Ryder is now. He's almost 6 feet--no longer the five year old I left when I went away to college... The Hathaway Girls!

She had just woken up from a nap.

Ali is the one on the floor.

Great backside pics of Ali.

Our little Cowgirl

Don't you think she makes a cute cowgirl?

Our Christmas Snow Princess

Madison has three Christmas dresses, so we've already started wearing them. She looked so adorable. Here she is bustin' a move.

Someone made the comment that she was like "Belle" and I would have to agree.

We leave for Utah in the morning to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday, so when we return I will post pictures of our trip to NM and UT. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Silly girl

This was the morning we were leaving on our trip. I had put Chris' shirt on her just to be silly and then she wouldn't let me take it off...

Sweet Madison

We arrived home safely yesterday--it was an early morning (4:30 a.m.) and I woke up with a hurt neck. Madison was great on the plane. We had such a fun trip--I'll post pictures soon, but haven't uploaded them yet. She learned four new words this past week in NM--"Papa"(it is so cute to hear her say it. That's what she calls my Dad. When they left has Saturday afternoon, later in the day she looked around and said "papa, papa", "Ali" (Ali's declaring herself the favorite aunt since that is the only name she can say), "Cheeeese" , "Cookie". She is picking up on things all the time. These are some pictures from the week before. When I took this picture I asked her how old she was?

Courtesy of Aunt Kendal

Another dress and bow (which Kendal made) from Aunt Kendal. Today Madison and I leave for Albuquerque, NM to watch Ali in the State Volleyball Tournament. We are excited to cheer her on to victory and to see some family. Kendal is already there because she's been doing a store opening for Anthropologie. We will return early Sunday morning. We will be leaving Chris behind to work, play basketball and do scouting stuff (he just got made the YM President). So until next week...

Silly Dance Contest

One of Madison's favorite songs we do at the library is "Silly Dance contest". The other night when I was at Enrichment, Chris recorded this little video. We also found a sound clip that we'll play on the computer and she would use the space bar and start and stop it and did it for like 30 minutes last Sunday. She is definitely my daughter because she LOVES to dance.

Spoiled by Aunt Kendal

When we saw Aunt Kendal in California, she had this new outfit (shoes and bow included) for Madison. People always comment on how well dressed Madison is and I tell them it's all because of her Aunt.

Dancing, Silly Videos

Madison has a cd player in her room and she always points to it and wants her music on. She loves to dance and sways those little hips to the music. Unfortunately, you mostly hear me singing in the background of the second video and her doing a few of the actions.

Madison is very good at entertaining herself as long as I'm in the same room with her.

Dancing Bee

Last Week we went to the library for storytime and the kids got to dress up and do a Halloween parade and get candy. Here are some videos of Madison dancing to the songs. Sorry it's not a very good angle because she was sitting on my lap and she wasn't her usual self since she had gotten shots the day before.

Our little Bumble Bee

Madison was a Bumble Bee for Halloween. She was very good about keeping all parts of the costume on.

We went to our Ward Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween night. She went around with Chris and held on tightly to that bucket.

If you look closely at her face you can tell she just ate cheetos for dinner. It was so dark, I didn't bother to wipe her face off--what kind of mother am I?

Uncle Matt and Aunt Courtney came over and ate with us. Madison is really starting to be comfortable around them.

Halloween Beauty

Grandma Rae Dene sent Madison a cute Halloween dress. She wore it on Halloween to my doctor's appointment and everyone at the doctor's office just loved it and thought she looked so adorable. The dress went perfect with her Halloween tights.
