HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Just a short recap--we are now back in Vegas. Chris' case is set to go to trial on Jun 21st 2010!! So we came back yesterday and are heading to Disneyland with Chris' firm. We leave today and come back on Sunday. Next week I'll report on our trip to NM. Here's a few Halloween pictures. Grandma H. sent Madison cupcake cups and sprinkles so we made cupcakes a few weeks ago. Can you tell who put the sprinkles on?
I was nursing Claire in the other room and came back to find that someone had helped herself...

Can you see all the finger holes?

For FHE a few weeks ago we carved a pumpkin and made carmel apples. Madison had a lot of fun. She kept calling the inside of the pumpkin "soup" instead of "goop".

Sisters

Can you tell that these two girls love each other and will be the best of friends!! Madison all ready for school.
Daddy and Claire time.

Chris is preparing for a trial that is set to begin Monday. He flies out to Sacrament, CA Sunday. When they appear before the judge Monday morning they find out if a court is available for their case. If so they will begin otherwise they'll come back in a year. So he could possibly be gone to CA for a month, so the girls and I leave for NM tomorrow. He's already working long late hours so we heading to spend some time with Grandma, Papa and Ryder. I'm not looking forward to the 8 hour drive by myself with two little girls but am looking forward to spending time with my parents and Ryder. Madison can hardly wait to go play with toys at Grandma's house. So no more blogging for a while...my parents have really slow dial-up.

Leave me in peace...

This is how Claire would prefer to be, but her sister is always wanting to hold her, read her stories, sing her songs--Madison doesn't want baby claire to sleep.

Spiders...

Two weeks ago Aunt Kendal sent Claire a new headband for Halloween. I tried it on her and Madison walked in and saw the spider and told me she was scared! Claire wore it the other day and every time Madison walked by her she started singing "the itsy bitsy spider".

This was taken about two weeks ago. We had been out running errands together and Madison started rocking out in her carseat and Chris recorded it--ignore me--but who really can pass up the chance to dance ?

Recent Project

I love having a sewing machine. My recent project was a reversible cape for Madison. One side is pink and princess the other is Super Madison and is purple. (you may have seen one for a boy with oneside batman and the other superman). Madison loves it.

These pictures are so old that Claire doesn't even fit in this outfit anymore!!

Two Month Update

On Friday I took Claire in for her two month check-up (these pictures are a few weeks earlier). She weighed in at 12 lbs. 13 oz. Height: 23 3/4 inches--she was 90-95% on height, weight and head size. I told Chris it feels like I never had a little baby--she's so long. She got her shots that day and I was nervous she'd be fussy all night, but she went to bed at 9:15 p.m. and slept until 4:15--ate and went right back down and got woken up at 7:20 am by Chris' alarm--yes the alarm was set on a Saturday morning because had to go to work. He's preparing for a trial--two weeks from today--it's in California and if it goes then he'll probably be in CA for a month--so NM here we come!

Madisonisms

Some phrases Madison has been using lately:
"I have a question for you"
"It's my fault"
"I love you so much"
"You're beautiful"
"You're so nice baby Claire"
"Mommy's name is Lindsay, Daddy's name is Chris, Madison's name is Madison, Baby Claire's name is Baby Claire"
"Ready, set, go"
She is talking so much and I can't believe all the things she picks up on. She is so fun and so full of love. When Chris gets home from work she talks non-stop to him and gives him hugs and kisses...he asked me if I never give her any attention--I do, but she loves her Daddy.

Our cute Baby Claire. She gives the biggest smiles especially to her big sister--I have yet to catch them on film.

So far behind

I am so far behind on posting pictures and updates...here are some pictures from three Sundays ago.

Madison giving Chris a "cheese" smile.

Not a very lady-like pose...

Two and half weeks ago for playgroup we went to a Pet Store for a tour. Madison loved it. She touched snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, ferrets and loved it all and even saw Nemo.

A few weeks ago was our Primary Sacrament Program. The Nursey kids sang "Follow the Prophet". Madison did a pretty good job. So here is a video of her singing it at home along with a few other fun things...
