Halloween Girls
The girls being silly modeling their new Halloween outfits from Grandma & Papa. Madison loved getting Halloween packages in the mail from her Grandma & Great-Grandma. These shirts are so cute--the pumpkins light up.

C-Bear

She was being so silly this particular Sunday morning.
This video cracks me up. The first part--it's like she gets a running start for her mount...and the second part you can hear her "talking" on the phone and then she must have hidden that phone under the table a hundred times and it never got old.

Pumpkin Patch
On Monday night for Family Home Evening we went to a Carnival/Pumpkin Patch. Madison has been eyeing it for weeks and was so excited. The girls wore a new Halloween outfit that Grandma & Papa sent them.
First we rode the carousel. This picture doesn't show it, but once it started Claire had a smile on her face the entire time.
Madison was so excited for the the ride to start.
After that we walked around and before I knew it Chris had paid $5 to play the Hoop Shots! He got three shots. He made the first--the worker was surprised. Missed the second and made the 3rd, so he got the grand prize. A giant monkey! Chris was so proud of himself, so now I have a giant monkey in my house! Chris insisted that the "Carni" get in the picture too.
Next Madison and Chris rode the Dragon ride.
Then we went to pick out our pumpkin. It's impossible to get both of them to look and smile at the same time!
We had a great evening! We haven't carved the pumpkin yet and every time we walk up the stairs to our house Madison asks, "What do you think is inside the pumpkin?" "We need to get that junk out!" We'll save that for next week's FHE.

Cute Pics
Here is Madison two years ago in a cute outfit that Kendal had bought her.
Here is Claire today in the same outfit. However Claire can't fit in the boots because her feet are too small. She is about a size and a half smaller than Madison was at this age and of course she doesn't have any hair.

Definitely a Girl
Claire is definitely a girly girl. She loves to have necklaces on and carry a purse around. She is also a climber! Yesterday I heard a noise in the dining room and went to investigate and to my surprise Claire was sitting on the dining room table! She exhausts me! About a week or so ago she was having a bad week--I thought she was teething but didn't see any teeth. Chris made fun of me that I always say she's teething if she's not happy. Well yesterday I was playing with her and she had her head back and was giggling and I saw one of her top molars completely through! I had only been checking in the front around her other teeth. So I was right! And poor thing just suffered through it without any medication.

Polk-a-dots
A few weeks ago the girls wore their polk-a-dot dresses. Aunt Sarah gave Madison this for her birthday and she looked especially pretty that day. She was having a great hair day!

Snacker
Madison is such a snacker. She always wants a snack or a treat. She eats all three meals, but not big portions and she loves to snack throughout the day. Where Claire on the other hand LOVES to eat and eats a ton at meal times and isn't quite as big a snacker as Madison. This is Madison a few Sundays ago with a yummy treat!
This was Madison's shirt and Claire looked adorable in it. She is so bad for pictures. As soon as she sees the camera she takes off in the other direction. It's almost impossible to get a good picture.

Hide and Seek
A few weeks ago I was going through the girls drawers and putting summer clothes away and getting out the fall wardrobes. Claire had been coming in and out of their room. I turned around and she was gone and she had just been there. Then I heard something. I looked around, but didn't see her anywhere. Then I heard a noise again and I lifted the lid on the bin and she was inside. When I had my back turned she had lifted up the lid, climbed in and the lid had gone back down. She was laying on top of the clothes and thought she was so tricky. Can you see the little foot poking out...

Dr. Claire
One afternoon Madison was down for a nap and Claire got to play with her Dr. Kit. She put the stethoscope around her neck and held all the other tools in her hand and walked around the house.
