Teddy Bears & Sparkling clips

Lately Claire has become a blanket girl and always has a stuffed animal or baby in her arms.

A few weeks ago the girls wore their BYU shirts to support the Cougars. Claire was not cooperating very well for a picture. When she looked at herself in the mirror she started growling because she saw the cougar on her shirt.

They also had received their Valentine package from Grandma and Papa that day with "pop rocks" They sure enjoyed them and made a MESS!

Claire went to the doctor today for her 18 month check-up. Here are her stats...She was 33 in. (apparentlly she's grown 2 1/2 inches in the last 3 months because they only had her at 30 1/2 in. in Nov.) She weighed 25 lbs. 12 oz. She's still shorter and weighs less than Madison did at this age.

Dancers

Grandma Dottie made the girls matching tutu's for Christmas. I was getting Madison's out for dance class and Claire insisted I put hers on too! In fact she even wore it to Madison's dance class over her clothes. These girls LOVE to dance!

Valentine's Day

We gave the girls a Valetine's present a few weeks ago. Madison was so excited! After she opened it she exclaimed, "How did you know that was exactly what I wanted!" They each got a new Valentine outfit, placemat and a package of Valentine's to make for friends (that is what she was so excited about).

Claire put her placemat on Chris' head and said "Ta-da"

We had a great Valentine's Day! We were actually got to spend Valentine's with famiy since we were in Utah for the long weekend. I'll document our trip soon.

Valentine's, Hearts, Pink

The girls are loving the Valentine's Season. We had fun getting out decorations, opening Valentine's packages from Grandma & Grandma Rae Dene ( Madison loves getting mail), making pink heart pancakes, making Valentine's for all our Aunts and Uncles and friends, eating chocolates... I got Madison some princess and winnie the pooh Valentine's. She LOVED the princess ones and after we had made one for everyone she asked if we knew any more girls so she could use more princess valentine's. The girls in their new Valentine shirts from Grandma. Grandma also sent Madison matching earrings and barrettes that sparkle--she loved them.

I thought I'd share some of my favorite Claire phrases...

"Ta-daa"--with her hands thrown up in the air--this could be for putting her cereal bow on her head or climbing up on the couch...

"Oh No!"--with her hands on her head

Telling me "Sit"--while patting a chair

What does a lion say? "Growwwwlllll"--in a very deep scary voice--I'm actually quite impressed with her lion roar

"No Way!"

"Thank you"

"Peeaasse"

"Cookie"

"I love you"

What does a Rooster say? "Cock-a-doodle-doo"

She also knows cow, chicken, sheep, horse, bird, pig, frog, kitty, puppy, duck

"Shoes"

She loves to sing "Popcorn Popping", "Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum" and "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes"--with all the actions and recently her ABC's.

The girls are at such a fun age right now and love playing together!

Hooray for Nursery!

Last Sunday was Claire's first day of nursery. It was a good day for everyone! She went in no problem and was a happy girl! I actually relaxed and enjoyed Sunday School and Relief Society. Madison LOVES primary and has enjoyed being a Sun Beam.
