FALL

I love the change of seasons and the fun new clothes! We keep getting little bursts of fall weather. Claire however still prefers shorts and a t-shirt--like her Mom. But little does she know that after tonight all shorts will be gone and she'll have to start wearing pants!!

Happy Halloween--think pink!

Grandma and Papa sent the girls a package at the beginning of the month. The girls were so excited with all the fun things. Grandma got them all pink Halloween outfits.

I love this one!

And she's had enough!

She's really had enough!!

And so it begins...

My girls love any Holiday. We got our home all decorated for Halloween. We got out their Halloween clothes. They've been receiving packages from Grandmas. They love looking at other people's spooky decorations. We've made Halloween treats, carved pumpkins...it is such a fun time. Here is Miss Evelyn in her kitty shirt. She looks scared in this picture.

So Cute...

Well, this little Missy has discovered her thumb and doesn't want to give it up. It just so happened that it started the weekend that Aunt Kendal was visiting over the first weekend of October. Aunt Kendal was a thumb sucker for a long time and we think she inspired Evelyn. No matter how many times I pull it out she puts it back. In fact I usually find her asleep on her side/tummy with thumb in mouth and it is always her left hand. It is pretty cute!

Wild One

Here Evelyn is at 16 1/2 weeks sporting a new onsie. She looks anything but wild in this picture. I'll tell you those are the sweetest cheeks to kiss!!

Madison wearing her new jumper Grandma gave her. She told me that she looked like a "real school girl"!

Evelyn at 14 weeks

A few weeks ago it actually cooled down a little (now we're back up to 87). So we pulled out some long sleeves and jeans.

How could you not love that face?

She is such a joy to our family. She is extremely ticklish under her arms and the girls are merciless! But she's a trooper and just giggles and giggles.

Miss Evelyn

Evelyn showing off some new clothes. Grandma Rae Dene and Grandpa Kirk came to visit over Labor day and brought Evelyn a new outfit. Check out those chubby cheeks!

This is the dress Aunt Kendal gave her. It is so soft.

This is one of my favorite outfits that my Mom got Madison and all three girls have worn.

Evelyn went to the doctor yesterday for her 4 month check-up. She weighed 15 lbs. 10 oz. and was 25 1/2 inches (grown two inches in the last 2 months). She checked out great. She's rolled over both ways. She laughs and smiles all the time. She's got a little cold now and has the saddest little cry--she rarely cries so this breaks my heart. The girls got flu shots yesterday and Madison went into orbit! She tried to make a quick exist from the room, but we stopped her. She only had to get the midst up her nose. Claire was very brave and only let out a quick cry on impact of the shot.

Madison is loving school. She is the designated paper hander outer for her teacher. She told me that her teacher "hired" her. I asked if her teacher really said that and she proceeded to explain to me what "hire" meant.

Lately, when Claire is doing something she's not supposed to or contemplating something she's not supposed to she turns to me and says "what will you do to me if I do this Mom"--she's definitely testing me and boy is she stubborn!!! For better or worse I'm more stubborn than her.
