Most girls love Valentine's Day and my girls are no exception.  Chris had brought me roses and the a bouquet of flowers for the girls.  I had the table all decorated for breakfast.   They were thrilled.  They each got a box of chocolates and a new book. Claire's chocolates were gone before I could serve breakfast.  Evie was quickly stuffing her mouth and Madison just tried a bite of each to make sure she liked them all.

Last year we started the tradition of fondue for Valentine's dinner.

Needless to say the chocolate fondue was a hit this year!  We also had cheese fondue, steaks, grilled potatoes, sparkling apple cider.  Everything was delicious!  It was a great day!

My make-up bag was on the bathroom counter and Little Miss was very interested. She got her handy-dandy stool and put her make-up on!  She had opened all the lipsticks and stuck her little fingers in and applied.  She was quite pleased with herself.  She took it very seriously!

This little girls has discovered the stool.  She loves to get it to reach things like turning the lights off and on or reaching the girls' jewelry box and empty out all the bracelets.  Sometimes she uses it as a step stool to climb on top of things.  It has opened all kinds of doors for her and drives me crazy!

Evelyn's hair is long enough for one pony tail. I think her hair is longer than Claire's (for sure in the back).  She's growing up on me!

I saw these boots on clearance at Target and couldn't resist. Who doesn't love a girl in boots?

Lately a favorite phrase of Claire's has been "This is going to be a doosy of a day mom" or "wow that's a doosy".  She makes me smile every day with her cute phrases.

Grandma and Papa sent a Valentine's package and boy were these girls excited!!  They all got a Valentine outfit, treat and little toy.  They LOVE these dresses--they wear at least twice a week or more depending on how fast I can do laundry!
