And we danced....

This cute dress was Madison's first Easter dress. I love seeing all the girls in the same clothes.  She was feeling a little sick this Sunday.


Evelyn was putting on a little puppet show at the library.

It was a Saturday...we had soccer...Mom had run a few errands and Dad was feeling stir crazy. We hopped in the car and ended up at the Bellagio.  As we were loading car I told Chris to change Evelyn into clothes...nope didn't happen.  She was rockin' an old dance leotard all over town.  The gardens were BEAUTIFUL!!! They smelled divine and there was even a butterfly garden.  Then we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings and Coldstone (Claire earned ice cream in her soccer game.)  It was a fun Saturday Family Date!

Evelyn fell asleep on our way home from dance and I lifted her out of the car and she walked in and passed out on the living room floor. That was as far as she could make it! 
Lily had her hands full of snacks and then she got this one in her mouth.

Evelyn gave up naps right after Lily was born and when Claire started morning Kindergarten.  She gave up naps the soonest of all my kids.  I think it part had to do with being in a big girl bed and the freedom and also that Claire would be gone all morning and then when she got home it was time for her to go down for a nap.  She was so happy when her buddy got home there was no way she was going to sleep.  Everyone once in a while she would fall asleep on the way to dance.  But then if she did fall asleep later in the day she would not go to bed at night until like 10!  It so was not worth it. I love that she goes to bed at 7 p.m. no problem.   Well one day she fell asleep on our way to dance...and we payed the price.  It's like 9:30 and she's playing the IPAD on the kitchen table....

We went to McDonalds after a soccer game. Lily loves french fries.  She had one in each hand and had eaten down to her hand but couldn't figure out to open her hand and put the rest in her mouth so I fed her one.
We've been planting flowers which the girls and I loved.  We went to Lowes and they picked out all kinds of flowers.  We had these to pots and and front flower bed.  It's all new to me.  The girls tell me I should be good because my mom has such beautiful flower gardens...I'm terrible, but hoping to get better!
The first of April and the heat arrived.  We've had some hot days this last month.  The girls were happy to get out the spring and summer clothes.  Evelyn posed herself here.

After Chris' post-op appointment we ran a few errands. Lily thought she was pretty big stuff to sit in the cart like a big girl!  She just kept giving me big smiles.  Then we ran to get some dinner and Chris managed to get himself a traffic ticket!!! Needless to say it put a damper on our evening away from the other 3 kids.  Oh and did I mention that all three older girls, Kendal and myself all got lice!!  It was terrible!  We had a professional "Nit picker" come and go through all of our heads.  I just couldn't do all of us and myself.  I HATE lice!


Another project that Kendal and I worked on while she was here.  I made those curtains baby!!  They turned out good.

These beauties modeling their Easter dresses.  My things is that every girl gets a new Christmas and Easter dress.  Sometimes that can be tricky in trying to find something modest.
Madison is becoming quite the young lady.  She's getting so tall.  I can't believe she's almost 8!

Evelyn loves playing dress up and one day she came up with her own Elsa dress. She was so funny and insisted on the wig.  She went around singing let it go.

End of February--first of March Chris herniated a disc in his neck which caused him excruciating pain.  He had just had an MRI so the doctors could see the problem.  He got a cortisone shot that offered no relief so he went to a specialist that he uses as an expert witness all the time that he trusts and knows he is an amazing doctor.  He was able to fit him in pretty quickly and surgery was scheduled for March 25.  He would have to stay overnight at the hospital and would definitely require my attention.  Luckily it worked out to have Kendal here.  She was helping on some decorating of the house so she was able to help out with the girls as well.  I would not have been able to do it without her.  The surgery went  great.  The problem was fixed and he feels 100% better!  He was pretty out of it when he came too.  He kept telling the nurses to go to church and read the Book of Mormon.  He kept baring his testimony to them.  I was dying!  He was so sincere.  This little lady got to come with us to all the pre-op stuff and was so sweet.

Uncle Martin came out for a few days too.  After Madison's soccer  game he was the designated swing pusher.  Chris is/was not allowed to even hold the baby.  After 7 months he can go about as normal.
