Piano Festivel

The girls had at Piano Festival in March at UNLV.  They each memorized two pieces and played before two judges.  They did awesome and each received a I rating (the highest). It was a neat experience.  Grandma Dottie and Grandpa Mike were able to be there and were good sports because we had to be there at 8 a.m. and they had just arrived late the night before.  As soon as we walked into the room Lily slipped and fell and busted her lip open.  Luckily our babysitter was outside because she was next so she took crying Lily out of the room.

Future Pianist

Lily love "playing" the piano like her big sisters. I hate that she can climb up there no problem!  She also loves dancing behind the girls while they practice.  She has definitely figured out the word "NO" and instead of yes she says "I"...it's actually quite endearing now.  Everyone loves hearing her say it.  We have no idea why she says it but it most definitely means yes.

Middle of March

Trying to figure out which shoes to wear to the wedding...outfitting 4 girls and me for a wedding not easy!  Claire was not pleased to be trying things on...

For St. Patrick's day dessert I made lime sherbet freezes.  Everyone enjoyed!
Evelyn has really been into dressing herself and picking out her clothes...mom always has finally say but we both try to compromise!

Reading week happened and I meant to take pictures every day to document the week...only was successful on Friday for pajama day!

St. Patrick's Day Package

Grandma had a St. Patrick's Day package for the girls before she left.  (It helped take the sting at her leaving so soon after returning...)  New shirts for all, Lucky Charms, green M & M's...They all wanted to wear right away.

Grandma & Papa's return visit

We were excited to have Grandma & Papa return from California Thursday night. Friday we enjoyed a little more shopping and then Claire had her performance of the Jungle Book. She was the mama wolf and Kaa the snake #6.  Claire's play was so entertaining!  She almost missed her scene  as Kaa the snake because they couldn't get her wolf foot off...my mom and I were dying of laughter.  Everything was so cute...the singing, the dancing, the acting...we loved it!!!  She was awesome!

Grandma played dolls with the girls Saturday morning.  They had so much fun and were so sad to see them leave.  They headed to Utah for baby Jane's baby blessing.

Cheer Camp

The girls went to our middle school for a cheer camp. They were both super excited. I wasn't planning on staying but Evelyn insisted on staying and watching. She was also quite the fashionista that day!

Sisterly Love

Lily loves Evelyn so much.  She is always so excited to see her when she returns from gymnastics, dance or school and always gives her big squeezes!  Lily doesn't say very many names--just Mom, Dad and Miss Donna (her gymnastics teacher)...so random!

Visitors

Grandma and Papa came to town on Thursday February 19th.  The girls were so excited.  They hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving.  Papa was a hit...playing games and teasing.  Lots of fun shopping with Grandma with icees and popcorn of course.  There was a McDonalds date as well.  They came to watch Madison perform in her Peterpan play.  She was Faun the Fairy and Atina the mermaid.  She did an awesome job and looked beautiful and took everything very serious!  Saturday night we took Mom and Dad out for their birthdays.  We had dinner at Grimaldi's and a little shopping and then went to the show Mystere and Treasure Island.  It was so fun!  Sunday morning was Dad's birthday so we had a little celebration before church and before they headed to California where they were going to be babysitting Cora and Baker for a few days.  We had such a good time.  The only thing that made the good-bye not so bad was knowing they would be back to us on Thursday for Claire's production!
