Two Weeks

It's amazing how quickly and completely they capture your heart.  We all love her so much.  I have loved watching all the other girls interact with her and just watch her so intently and observe everything little thing she does.  She is so loved!

Trying some new hairstyles on Madison's mane!

This poor girl just can't stay awake every day!  This seems so uncomfortable...just lay down!

Home

My parents left Monday afternoon (March 28th). That was a very emotional hard day. I was feeling very overwhelmed and wanting my Mom. But somehow we did it.  I made it through the day and each day after got little easier.  Our lives are busy--our girls are very involved so there is always somewhere to be (usually two places at once).  After about 2 weeks Eleanore and I got things figured out.  She is such a good sweet baby!  We put her in the pack-n-play in our room for the first 6 weeks mostly so I could get up and down with her easily.  But it was hard when the other kids would come in our room in the morning.  They would usually wake her up.  I was hesitant to move her to her own room.  I like being able to see her and know she's okay, but once I did we all slept better and it's been great for all!!!

These are the flowers Mom and the girls got me--purple because it's my favorite color.

Easter Sunday

Well, Eleanore did not have a great first night home!  I was wishing for a nurse to come take her in the night!  So I was pretty tired when the girls woke up and were so excited to search for their Easter Baskets.  Chris had church meetings at 8:30...

Everyone looked beautiful in their new Easter dresses that they each picked out!  Their poses kill me!  I have such girlie girls!

Eleanore took a little nap and so did I while everyone was at church!

We had a little Easter egg hunt in the back yard.  Grandma made a delicious Easter dinner for us...she even made deviled eggs which are a  favorite of mine.
