Weekend at Lava

We spent the weekend camping with our friends the Neeleys at Lava Hot Springs. Riding in the truck on the way to Lava...we realized too late that we should have put Paige in the middle. Ali and Cam torture each other.
Chillin' at the hot pots. We spent our evenings here relaxing from the long day of river rafting and swimming.
Paige and her BFF of the trip.
Paige and Ali loved the slides they would go over and over. Cam just liked to chill in the pool.

Our family float tube. I think we floated the river 5 times all together and Cam and Ry did an additional 3 times. The kids loved it. Paige would laugh every time we went over the bumpies (rapids)! It was SO much fun!
Playing Uno Moo in the camper.

Kittens and Swimming

Ali is in love with the kittens. If only they were in love with her :( This one seems to be a pretty good sport and lets her pack it around under her arm and do pretty much whatever she wants with it. It doesn't even run away when she puts it down.....Ry thinks it went without oxygen for too long and is now damaged and that is why it doesn't run when it gets the chance!

Watch out boys!!! Ali is getting in some good practice!

Swimming lessons have pretty much been our life this past week. 4 days in a row we headed out for lessons. The picture above is of Cam in class......can't find him....that's because he spends most of class underwater! I don't think he hears half of what his teacher is saying. The boy is part fish!

Up for quick breath of air :)

Paige loves her class and comes home singing a new song everyday. She is quite the little swimmer and would probably spend all day in the water if she were permitted.

Enjoying the Local Events

Ali sporting a pony tail. It was SO cute didn't quite last all day. Just like all of Ali's other hair dos!
The girls and I watching the Rexburg air show from A-1 Windshield. Not a bad seat!
Paige loves the new kittens....especially this one she calls the snuggly one. They were both pretty worn out from a long day of playing.
Free fishing day at Lone Pine. We caught 7 fish in 1.5 hours. We were the envy of all our neighbors who were not catching anything. Our awesome fisherman day used his magic to help a few of the neighboring kids hook into some BIG fish!
Paige caught and 18 inch trout that tied for the largest fish caught by a girl for the whole day! Go Paige!
Paige's first real haircut. She took off 6 inches. Both mom and daughter have not missed our daily fights about combing through the rats nest :)
Paige and Grammy getting ready for the Rigby Lake firework show.
 Good ol' sparklers
Roasting marshmallows for s'mores over a can of Sterno while waiting for the firework show. It was AWESOME. Sterno works even better than a traditional fire. Nice and slow making for a PERFECT s'more. Thank you pintrest :)
