Cupcakes galore! Everyone ended up with a blue mouth! :)

Grandma RaRa came to visit and was able to spend Carter's birthday with him. He chose Chili's for dinner and Space Chimps for the movie. It was a pretty cute Alien movie.

Before...
After... Brother's by chance, friends by choice.

Roosi is no longer an Orvin...

That's right... we decided to return Roosi to the Rescue mission. After 2 weeks she just wasn't quite fitting in our family. It's not all in the name ya know! At first we were thinking that she might have to go back because she had an extreme jealousy problem with Kennedy. She would bark at her uncontrollably... jump on me and then the baby....I couldn't even put Kennedy down around her for a few days. We started to get that under control and then it became a potty training issue. She was messing on the floor a few times a day. Then she was getting better with that. Anyhoo, I woke up Saturday morning and thought ... alright we are going to keep her. My grandma agreed. It was all going to work out and we were going to push forward. Roosi would follow me around everywhere non-stop. Saturday morning...seconds after talking with my grandma, Roosi followed me into the boys bedroom and squatted...she peed right in front of me! I decided that was my sign right there. She was going back. It was either replace my carpet and despise the dog ...or return her and hope that she would luck out with a wonderful new home. We love you Roosi - good luck!

Yummy Crepes Recipe

Give this a try...they are pretty easy and scrumalumalumptious!!!
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 T. melted butter
Measure ingredients into blender; blend for 30 seconds. Scrape down sides. Blend for 15 seconds more. Cover and let sit for 1 hour in refrigerator. (This helps the flour absorb more of the liquids.) Makes about 12 crepes. (For sweeter crepes add 2 tsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla.) Pour a very thin layer into nonstick pan and cook until light brown. Flip over. Remove and fill with powdered sugar before rolling. Top with strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, Nutella, or whatever. Get creative!

Arizona Diamondbacks

We were able to go to a Diamondback game this past Sat. night thanks to Casey's work. The boys had never been to a professional baseball game before and they were just eating it up. Their mouths open in Aw! We had a spectacular time!!!
On the way to our seats we ran into Carter's 1st grade teacher from last year, Mrs. Luker. We couldn't believe that we ran into someone that we knew. There were 44,000 people there. We also saw a our good friend Sara. It's a small world right?

I think that we have a little D-back cheerleader in the making!
D-backs won 6 to 1!!! GO D-backs!

Meet the new President in our family!

Roosevelt...AKA "Roosi"

We have adopted a cute little Miniature Schnauzer. She is originally from a "puppy mill" in Missouri. Our Rescue mission went in and decided to confiscate the dogs there. They weren't being taken care of and had many different untreated sicknesses. Roosi has since fully recovered and then became ready for adoption. She fits in perfectly with our family, but to make it just right we had to giver her a presidential name. It has taken her a few days to get calmed down and relaxed around the kiddos but she is adjusting wonderfully. We have her fully groomed when we picked her up at PetsMart. They were so great with her. She had her first haircut, nails cut, teeth brushed, Oatmeal bath...treated like royalty there. We love her very much and wanted to share her with everyone we know.

This is Roosi before she went in for her spa treatment!
This is Roosi after....what a difference!

Idaho Cousins

Carter & Stetson
The whole Gang
Grant & Taylin

Jackie & Jamie brought 2 of their 6 kiddos with them to visit. Taylin and Grant are both 4 and Stetson and Carter are both 6. It was perfect. They had a blast swimming!!!

Martina McBride

Casey's sister Jackie and her husband Jamie came to visit us this past Friday. Our wonderful babysitter and niece Chelsey has decided to move back home to Idaho. So they came here to pick her up and all of her stuff. They were only able to stay one night with us but it worked out perfectly! Martina McBride was in town so we decided to get 4 tickets and make a night of it. Martina was fabulous! Her voice is spectacular!!! She can belt out anything. It was a wonderful way to end their stay with us... all 12 hours of it! Heehee!!!

Our Top Notch Arkansas Trip!

Here is a picture of the beautiful lodge at Point Remove that we stayed at with Grandma Suzie and Papa Mike. It is a 10,000 sqft paradise out in the middle of no-where! We all had our own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect for us during our 12 day vacation. We had the best time visiting with all of our family and friends. We missed a few but over all I think that we did great making time for everyone. Sometimes that can be hard... but worth it.
