Presidential Fitness Award

C-Dogger received the Fitness Award for completing and passing 5 fitness challenges! He was 1 of three in his classroom to do it! Haley was upset bcause she missed 3 of hers. We will work on that with her. So Calder received a shirt and a signed award for it. Unfortunatley, it is signed by obama...EWWWWWW! Oh well, We are very proud of him none the less!

Happy Birthday C-Dog

Calder finally turns 7 and is SOOO excited.. You can guess it he had a soccer ball for his cake.
The candles kept re-lighting and finally Lubs had to help!

Sorry the pics are backwards, I sometimes forget how to put them in so they end up right!

His fun cake. He just wanted chocolate cake with the white icing..

And his fun little invite! NOOO we did not have people at the house all day. It was just a day for him and the family. His next one will be a big one!

Happy Birthday C-Dog..We Love you!

Another Wedding Weekend...

Yes, it was another wedding weekend...The client has worked with us before and Nat got to run the show..(yeah!) It was in their backyard and yes, the budget was small..However, we give them a HUGE kudos for knowing their budget and sticking to it!
This is the buffet table that we did. We really do love the look of the lights underneath.
The arch at night with the trees lit up also

The bride and groom at the arch. Garden hooks and lanterns is what we put in the yard.

The centerpeices. They turned out beautiful. Nat did a great job envisioning it all! And yes, our 'worker' Jacob kicked butt in helping us also!

Calder's 7 Years...

Can you believe that he is already 7 years old? I love my Calder James! He has grown up to be such a good young man. He strives to do the best he can in all things and is so very humble when he achieves his goal. He has a huge heart and is always looking out for his family. He loves to do puzzles with Daddy and wrestle with Lubs, make Harper laugh and even play with his big sister. Time goes by so fast and when I get the chance to stop and slow down to watch them grow it amazes me that they are turning into wonderful little people. I love my 'little man' immensly and he brings joy to my heart!
Of course he wanted to pose with a soccer ball..go figure

Happy Birthday C-Dog!

Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo for a fieldtrip for Dog. I couldn't really be a chaperone..but I got to walk around with Calder, Lubs and Harper. We had fun!
Harper loved the seal exibit! She jumped back when one of them hit the window with their fin and she started laughing

Calder and his buddies and teacher.

Soccer with Calder

Calder REALLY is good at soccer. I enjoy watching him just as much..okay more..then I enjoyed watching my brothers play when I was growing up. We have been approached to switch teams. (which we won't..LOYALTY) and also to play club. Which we have thought about but won't do now because of the Sunday factor. However, we did talk to one of the training coaches and they agreed that playing up for Calder would be the best thing for him. So that is what we will do next season, so that he can improve his skills and be challenged!
This was the last game of the season. He plays all over the field and loves to shoot. He is getting better with his left foot and is now shooting from about 10-15 yards out. SInce they do not play with a goalie (?) if he misses a shot then he has 10 pushups. He should not be missing a shot within the 5 yd line at all :)
He starts again first week of June and goes thruout the summer. Haley wants to play this year and Dubbers, you ask? He will be taking a season off. He is just Dubs :)

Ish's Art Show Projects..

Haley did this in her art class. She weaved it using a piece of cardboard. She really is talented!
This is a story rock that she did. They learned about them in art class also.

10 Months of Harper!

My Heavens the time goes by so fast!!.. Already 10 months
The bunnys were not real. However, it took us a while for her to let them be. She would pick them up and try to eat them or throw them!

Again, tutu courtesty of Haute Summer..and leggings and bow :)
